I go to college soon...and i've never taken chemistry. I'm planning on going pre-med, but i fear that this lack of knowledge will inhibit me. I take chem first semester, and figured i would prepare a little bit before hand. So, I bought the idiots guide to chemistry. However, now i have so many questions that need answering, and i feel so overwhelmed.

Is there any hope for me? I really want to make the most out of college.

In regards to the amazing popularity of television shows, movies, and so on, I find it fascinating how few people speak, openly of ghosts/spirits. Personally, I KNOW of the spirit of a deceased man, who, once, lived in my residence. Why dont I FEAR him? Simple, he has never tried to harm me. I just wonder why others FEAR the "supernatural"? Why do we FEAR what we do not understand? Why does the fleeting glimpse, of a spirit, scare most people atleast as much as having as having a gun pointed at ones face? Why do we run from un-known noises? If the deceased have not harmed a person, then WHY should the person FEAR the deceased?

So couple of days ago diced that I would like to commit to a vegetarian lifestyle and then later on like years later(after I get the hang of being vegetarian)go vegan.How would I go about eating healthy as new vegetarian.This only my second day.I am willing to do it.Also if you could list some nuteains when I say nutrients I mean victiam c,iron,victiam d and all the other nurteins I need as a growing 17 girl.Also if u could post some websittes that you think will be helpfully.Maybe even some books to read.any thing else u think I need to know.thanks in advance.(I am so sorry about the very bad spelling.I'm already a bad speller but without my spell check it makes me look worst.sorry bout the spelling mistakes my check speller is ******* broken.damn it)

Would it be possible to lower the level of the sea by genetically alerting the size of sea creatures such as fish and plankton? What % of the oceans are made up of creatures and would removing them all (rather drastic I know) lower the level of the sea by much?

got into a huge fight w/my bf of 2.5 years last friday due to my PMDD (it causes me to be the witch from hell 2 weeks before my period). it was so bad that he was going to go for a drive b/c i wouldn't leave his house and go back to mine. i ended up leaving w/him telling me he loved me and that he just needed some space to relax and it would take time for things to go back to the way they were with us.

i haven't heard from him since (he did work sun-tues and usually doesn't call on those days) and today i noticed that he got an email confirmation for his class reunion back home in IL which is in 2 weeks (Aug 4th). he never mentioned this to me and is going by himself (the confirmation listed one ticket).

i don't know what to think and i'm really upset....

I just purchased my first home. I bought a pre construction home. I bought it for 200k and put about 2k into it. I believe its worth about 260-280 already. I know about the housing slump but thats what it comps out at. Anyway, if I flipped it how much would I pay in taxes? Is it like earned income or a certain percentage. Also, can I roll it into anything besides real estate without paying taxes.

Is it just me or are guitar heros fading away? The music that has come out withtin the past 10 yrs. is okay but there's no more soloing. All it is, is down tuned talentless garbage, and yet i still find myself to like it. I play electric bass, acoustic and electic guitars. everytime i hear a song i wanna learn i look it up and learn it. Then realize that lines are so basic and talentless that it makes me feel as if there will be no more guitar heros in the future. Is it just me or are they almost gone for good?
