All countries except the USA are sanctioned in the don't obey the resolutions. The US makes sure of that!! However, the US has a special dispensation and can do what it damn well pleases (invade Iraq for example) and doesn't have to worry about sanctions. What a loser organization that puppet of the US is.-

The UN is full of bureaucrats... The United States started the organization and we can't even get a top spot or any support. They are fluff and have not accomplished anything relevant. However they should follow resolutions on nuclear weapons.

No the US never follows any of the resolutions either nor has Israel -
I would prefer Iran stopped making nuclear stuff - but as to nations that ignore the UN
America and Israel are number one followed by Iran

Article 25 of the UN Charter obliges all signatories to abide by the decisions of the U.N. Security Council (UNSC). However, in practice, since the UNSC has no direct power to enforce its decisions with military might, the governments of nations directed to do something by the UNSC often thumb their noses at it...that is, of course, unless one or more of the Great Powers (the U.S., Britain, France or Russia) decides to unleash its military unilaterally, or as part of a "coalition of the willing," to enforce the UNSC resolution (as the U.S. did in the First Gulf War).

Yes they are. They are also one of the most corrupt countries in the world. They are poor and getting poorer. They are all afraid to get out of house at night.
The reason why we follow the UN is so the outlaw rouge nations will feel competed to when they figure out that their thuggery is not working.

Why would anyone choose to follow the UN's rules? Saddam ignored them for years, was warned 17 times, and it still took the U.S. disregarding their wishes and going in without them to actually enforce the rules. These guys have LONG outlived their usefulness.

I'm not sure any country ever has. The UN is an exercise in futility if you ask me.

the general secretary was buying iraqi oil through his son's company while iraq had sanction. it couldn't stop the usa from invading iraq to control oil prices. it can't stop iran and korea from building WMD pretty pointless except for debate.

If you don't follow their resolutions they will get very angry. And they will write you a letter telling you how angry they are.
