I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ440, its my first bike...got it for cheap and running. I just had to clean the carbs cuz the bike was sitting for a long time and they were badly varnished. This didn't keep the bike from running...it just ran akwardly cuz of it (random loss of power while adding throttle) Now...the carbs are clean and have some left over carb cleaner, and my buddy told me I should put it in the gas tank to clean it out. I don't know if my buddy has any idea what he is talking about. I know a gas tank can get gunked up but I don't think this is the way to clean it. Anyhoo...my thought is...carb cleaner is not called 'gas tank cleaner' and the directions say nothing about using it as such. I took off the petcock and cleaned that with water and an air hose, I emptied the fuel tank and there is nothing solid bouncing around inside it...should I even bother with carb cleaner or just put the bike back together and finally learn to ride?

im painting my bedroom purple..?

im using purple paint, and you can still see the stencils over the paint. my wall was white before, with flowered stencils that were red, green, blue, and yellow. now im painting it dark purple, and you can still see the silhouette of the freakin flowers. i know nothing about painting, so i dont know what i should have done before starting. any help or suggestions? thanks.

Rat help Pleassee I am crying?

Hi, I'm actuallt sitting here crying right now because I want a rat so bad! I know all about them and I know I could take GREAT care of them!!! My mom really hates them though. I showed her pictures of cute rats but she still can hardly look at them. I've never wanted anything so bad!!! I told her that they are sweet loving creatures. She won't listen to anything though. what are the visa requirements for a filipina in korea?

My wife is coming to korea and needs a sponsor letter for her tourist visa, an invitation letter, inviting her to Korea. Saying that I will support her. Where is there an example of this? My mom and grandma got together and talked about me. They think i need counseling. I think i just have normal 13 yr. old girl issues. My dad wants me dead, my mom neglects me, nobody gets me, and my 2 best friends have the exact same issues. Do i need counseling?

What if I die before I choose the "right" religion?

I'm agnostic. I have no idea if god exists. I'm leaning towards he/she or it does not. Everyone around me seems sure though, they're Christians. I dont tell anyone about my lack of faith because I dont want them to think badly of me or treat me differently.

What should I do, there are some many different religions, and then within each of those there are so many divisions. A "loving" deity must be willing tolerate doubt without punishment, no?

If I say I have my doubts, Christians just tell me I'm going to hell if I dont believe whatever their brand of faith is.

Faith is so subjective, so individualized.

Women-only taxi service?

I read today about a women-only taxi service and was pretty sickened by some gits claiming that this is sexist. When there are an estimated 30,000 unlicensed taxi drivers in the UK, with an increasing amount of serious sexual assaults taking place in them, how can any sensible and decent person say that providing a safe alternative is NOT a good idea?
