Without doubt, it's Tim Duncan. Why? Just simply put, by the way he's always there. Not to mention his cool and laid back attitude that always helps the team.
You could see how well he stopped Lebron in the finals. Although he didn't block him many times, Lebron couldn't drive to the hoop and dunk it like he did against the Pistons, simply because Duncan was there. He would always come up and change Lebron's shot, or Lebron would know Duncan would be able to block him, so he would be more hesitant on the drive.
He is also always in the paint, making sure players don't get easy layups or dunks, or changing their shot. He is what anchors the Spurs great defense down. Also, he is a monster on the boards.
On the offensive side, it's the same. His little banker hook shot is deadly, and he draws the double team and makes the right pass out. Duncan has got to be it.

Kevin Garnett hands down...Look at the supporting cast Tim Duncan has.. Dont get me wrong he's good But if Kevin had a supporting cast like that this question wouldn't even come up..Remember when KG had Sprewell and Cassell he went to the Conference Finals .... You take Ginobilli and Parker and put them on the Timberwolves... Duncan is sitting at home without a ring now......

well kg is the most versatile player in the nba by far. he can play any position better than the majority of players. he's a great player who is versatile, and i would give him the slight advantage in terms of dominance. his numbers are comparable to duncan's, and duncan has always had a great supporting cast. duncan's first year he had robinson, and since then he's had at least one very good player every year, while in his entire career the only two decent teammates kg has had were wally and cassell. if you swapped duncan and kg there would be no discussion, because kg's numbers would blow everyone else's away. the supporting cast is what allows duncan to win titles, kg would have at least as many as duncan, if their positions had been reversed. and while dirk has as much talent as anyone, he's not truly dominant enough yet, but he will be

It is very close between the two. Duncan has the more rounded game, though Garnett has the outside shot. I would give the edge to Duncan for leadership.

TIM DUNCAN- come on he is the best PF of all time. he is Great at both ends Offense and Defense. He blocked shots. also a midrange shooter at times. but his real weapon is that shot that hits the glass. that shot is almost unguardable. Many Accomplishments 3 time Finals MVP,2 time seaon MVP and 4 NBA Championship Rings. Soon to be a Hall of Famer

Tim Duncan reminds me of last year's Tony Dungy: almost always cool and collected. Duncan is the reason the Spurs have done so well and won so many championships. I don't think it would be smart to pick anyone else because he's led his team to so many championships.

At this point, it's not even close. Duncan by far is the best power forward. KG is starting to decline, but Duncan has stayed stable.

The question is Dominant. Tim has a laid back attitude remember? So before I think it was Shawn Kemp. The 'Reign Man'. He was one of those forwards that can dominate a game with sheer power. Garnett was not even close to Shawn's talent in his prime. Too bad it just didn't last.
