My family (which was Jewish) came from Latvia around 1886.
Another family with the same (uncommon) surname (which was Lutheran) came from Sweden about 1884.
I think that there were Jewish conversions to Christianity in Germany in late 1700s and that Sweden was a power on the continent around then.
Is there a chance that these two families are related?
Our surname is also a place name in Switzerland and Germany, so it is possible that the families were independantly named after the same place.
Any info on the Jewish to Lutheran angle?

doing exercises where one would hold a pad, and hte other would kick at it. now as i was holding this pad. and this guy kicks really damn hard! my instinct, for some reason was to flex my abs aginst hte blows. but it seemed that really i was just holding my breath or something. i dunno. after that, we did all kinds of exericses , sit ups, push ups and jumping jacks. i thought it was all easy. then i come home, like 45 minutes ago. and i seem to be having trouble breathing. any ideas?

My boyfriend is 17 years old he drinks about 3 times a week, I think it's too much but he thinks it's fine, he says he only drinks because theres nothing else to do in this town, and i disagree i think he could deffenitly go out and do something better than drink, he doesnt really waste his money on it he only does it when he hangs out with his friends and he says that if he had a job he would quiet drinking, but i dont know...is it normal to drink that much??? should i be worried about him or is he just being a normal guy?? please help me!!!!!
