licking batteries gives you a weird metal taste i wouldnt recommend it though

It is a taste of metal in your mouth. Like if you put a piece of money in your mouth like a dime or a penny---you can actually taste the metal. That is a metallic taste.

I get the worst metallic taste when I clean a car battery or grind on metal, esp tarnished metal. yuck.

It tastes like metal , or it can be like a 'tinny' taste..or blood, or a spoon, or coins.....dont listen to those other snobby answers! and by the way, if you taste this, it is a symptom of anxiety ! dont worry, i have anxiety. GROSS TASTE THOUGH !

its a taste like i associated with Iron. I had it bad when I was in my first trimester. Im 6 mos now and over it, but it wasn't fun.
