I am constantly asked by atheists, "Why does god heal people from illnesses, but he doesn't heal amputees"

Because that would be so profound, you would have no choice but to believe in God. God always gives us a choice to believe or disbelieve, God will not force you to believe. That wouldn't be fair, now would it?

Give the Liberals what they want and force France,Germany,Russia and Italy into dealing with their Neighborhood without the help of the U.S.A.Leave the Saudi's,Iranian's,Egyption's and Syrians and Iraqi's to deal with their neighborhood.After a few months these Country's would beg the U.S. to help save their Sociaty.We owe these people nothing, give them a taste of what the world would be like without the never ending help of America.

What do you think about the USA funding the IRA. The UK was dealing with terrorism for decades, and the US were partly to blame. Then when they're targeted, all of a sudden the activities that they were funding for decades are wrong. Is this because they came to their senses or because they can dish it out, but can't take it?

I'm interested to hear the views of any Americans. Can you justify it and, if so, how?

I'm not holding a grudge against the USA or Ireland (I'm quarter Irish), but I don't condone the slaughter that was caused by these two nations.

I have noticed many people outside the church no matter the denomination understand that homesexuality is - wrong - as it is a choice? However, those outside the church and with a lustful heart accept the many excuses for this act. Murder's, Rapist, Homicidal Maniacs and so forth committed theses acts by "choice"; however their is always someone to make excuses for them based on "scientific" research that is apt to change. My question to "you" is where do you divide the line between immoral and morale?

If he knew everything, there's nothing that couldmake him feel emotion, i.e., he couldn't be suprised when the world ends, because he already knew when it was going to happen. there are plenty more examples, so, he can't be both.

I don 't want to be at the house where I grew up. I hate that house! I have nightmares everynight. As time gets closer the nightmares are becoming tense. The nightmares are that I'm getting violated by men I never met before. I'm sure of that. Should I not go or should I just leave and go somewhere else? My husband David said I shouldn't get stressed out over this.

This follows on, kind of, from my previous question about the origins of the universe.

A widespread, and often valid, contradiction of religion is that its believers follow it without due consideration - for example, if we take Christianity, they will argue the Bible, and everything contained in it is right.

Whether or not this is true is irrelevant for just now - but people often say in response to this, i've realised on here "where is your proof?"

So it's all about proof, is it. Well, I have to ask about proof of scientific theories too. Ah, now hang on, I know the scientists have done the work. Give me a sec.

Someone replied to a question saying "99.9% of scientists believe in the Big Bang Theory". So it's easy to quote statistics.

But statistics are so easily manipulated. And you may tell me that "mathematical formulae" prove the universe was not created by God.

How many of us, in all honesty, myself included, actually understand the complex physics and maths
