The tongue is a small member but boasts many things. Did you know that life and death are in the power of your tongue. If you keep speaking these things into existance, they have no choice but to come to past. Speak peace in your mind and confront your fears. You can do it. This house has power over you instead of the other way around. No inanimate object should have power over you. You have the authority over your life. You've been lingering in one chapter too long. Close that chapter of your life and move on to the next.

I think that you should not go if it is traumatizing for you, which it does sound like it is. You probably have something buried in your memory that was a traumatic experience for you. It didn't have to be physical trauma, it could have been just different fears or experiences that you didn't like that cause you to suffer. I used to have a lot of nightmares where I grew up and I hated it there at that house. I don't live there anymore, but I found out over the years that it was not the house but the people's lives in the house. Our home was not a happy one at least not for me. You might want to see a counselor to help you find out why this is happening. I hope that you find a solution that works for you.
Peace from PureVu

If it has only been one year snce your mom has been gone, it is normal for you to have strange feelings about being in the house with memories of her. Try keeping your loved ones in the house so that you feel less hate and give it some time for your nightmares to ware off. Your husband is right: Don't let the situstion stress you out. If things don't get better within a year or so maybe it would be best for you to really consider leaving.

You will always miss your Mother. My Dad died 11 years ago and I still think of him daily. After all, we would not want to forget them, would we?
Why do you hate the house where you grew up..I would think it would make your Mom seem closer with sweet memories there.
I don't think the dreams are related to your Mom's death. Sometimes medication or other problems in your life can cause vivid upsetting dreams.
I'm with David - don't get stressed out over this. Keep seeing your Psychiatrist and address this issue with him. Good Luck.

First of all, no one has the right to tell you, you shouldn't be stressed over a situation. These are YOUR feelings. Were you molested in your parents' house when you were a child and haven't had good therapy?
Do you have any happy memories growing up? If so, try to focus on these while you're there.
Take care

Confront your fears and no don't stress they are just nightmares, if there is some substance to the nightmare, visiting the sight will put an end to the unknowing which is what is bothering you the most. Go with God. God Bless.

well as far as the dreams go,tell your hubby about them and then act them out,(with your hubby)it will change them into a dream about you and you hubby.also the dreams could be repressed memories, that would be something for a shrink to help you with.about the house it seems that most people don't like the house that they grew up in.

Convince yourself,again and again,and again,
1)It is NOT YOUR FAULT that your mom is away.
2)Dreams Are virtual, not reality.
3)Dream contents are sometimes known to BE THE REVERSAL OF REALITY.
Talk, listen, thank, and love David more frequently.
Thank You,
and SMILE.
