I got carried away with my mouth again yesterday, boasting about how smart I was. (I feel really stupid now!) I know God loves me and he knows I want to be very spiritual, so I'm afraid he's going to bless me with failure in the one thing I haven't completely stuffed up in my life - academic studies. How can I stop myself from being egotistical, before God humbles me himself?

According to the census breau, there are 35 million people in america classified as poor which includes a LARGE PORTION OF REPUBLICANS. For decades now, the income gap between the wealthiest, and the poorest is growing. Our nations wealth is becoming more centralized in fewer and fewer people's hands..

The whole idea of the america dream is an illusion. With hard work and dedication, the average american will not be better off than their parents. They will work longer hours, with less job security, and no retirement.

And yet the poorest republicans (maybe its lack of education) defend the tax policies that protect the wealthy. They endorce the politicians that set up policies that prevent that person from ever getting out of poverty.

Why do so many poor, protect and defend those who rob them blind?

I'm a female, and I think that if a female wants to work, absolutely, it should be done, but now since womens lib it seems that women HAVE to work in order for there to be enough money for the family to live, I think that women should not have to work and men need to step up to the plate.

I moved from London England to the US a long time ago now, almost three years ago, I moved so I could be with my american boyfriend, we got married and shortly after I became pregnant with my daughter, I didnt file for my immigration papers immediately, as we just couldnt afford it, after being here for now almost three years I am very close to getting my work permit and social security number so I can learn how to drive and get around on my own, my problem is that I have basically been housebound for three years and I have no friends here and I am sooooo bored outta my skull I often find it hard to breath, I need ideas for things that I can do (in the house) to keep me from going insane, I live in AZ and its too hot at the moment to even contemplate going outside, I am depressed and don't know how to be happy anymore, dont say go to the doctor or anything like that I can't afford it firstly and secondly all the FREE programs aren't available to me because of my immigrant status help!

I've always enjoyed drawing, but i'm not too good. I enjoy to draw little scenes of various things that are happening, most often with people, but i'm not too good at drawing people. I don't wish to learn about complex portraits with a bunch of detail, but I do want to get away from stick figures, however complex they might be. Also, i'm not too great at drawing living things like animals. Any answer is great, about any drawing or little tips too make it look better. Thanks!
