He is an enlightenment to us all!!! He gave us global warming!!! And yes, he needs to be able to get around to promote it!!!! So is it really that fair, to call him a hypocrite.. I think he really cares about us. Al Gore should control the world.

Because he hasn't accomplished anything yet.

Being an advocate for a political viewpoint isn't a real accomplisment. The same could be said for any politician, and almost none of them deserve any kind of recognition.

The Nobel Prize might go to the scientists who do the research, not some politician who is in it for the money.

Now before you give me the thumbs down, I urge you to do a little research. Ask yourself, in what way does Al Gore benefit from his stance on Global Warming? Has he not made money from his movie? Has he not profited personally from carbon credits? Has he not improved his visibility and name recognition by doing so?

Reducing pollution may be a noble cause, but I've yet to see any of Al Gore's actual accomplishments in that field. All the accomplishments are made by scientists.

We might as well give the Nobel prize to celebrities who advocate the theory of quantum physics. They accomplish nothing by doing so, and don't deserve any prize.

evaluate this: Peace is the fruit of justice, and grows on no different tree. i think of the action picture is very efficient, and does factor out the injustice of many aspects of ways of existence interior the stronger worldwide. although, that's difficult for each guy or woman to comprehend whilst there seem to be one among those good kind of opposing perspectives of the motives of climate replace - who's suitable? that's ironic that the action picture became slated in uk via a decide in straightforward terms a pair of days previously the Nobel Prize became introduced. it is vital for worldwide justice, and thence for peace interior the worldwide, that we don't waste aspects whether there is no longer a right away link with climate replace. so as that part of Gore's message is valid. climate replace is of course, better than an inconvenience in most of the poorer aspects of the worldwide. possibly the suitable clarification for the conflict in Darfur is the desertification of that land, the place the Sahara is spreading southwards and destroying previously fertile aspects. Having pronounced all that, i think of Gore is fairly a self-publicist and that i do no longer evaluate him a saint. he's a toddler-kisser inspite of each and everything!

Al Gore has not won the Nobel Peace Prize nor should he. He has not done anything worthy of winning the prize.

He does not deserve any such prize. He is a hypocrite. He does not practice what he preaches. And he makes money off of it. As for that world concert, it was a huge waste of resources and polluted the atmosphere. He should be ashamed.
