Absolutely not illegal. As if you are the bill payer , you can give the phone to anyone you want. Small businesses use this all the time. One of my old bosses contracted a phone for me once.

No, when I was under 18 I had a contract in my parents name (i paid the bill though)...
just make sure she does'nt abuse it my friend's mum got a contract for him so he could use it as he's 17 and he ran up a bill of £180.62 and he missed a payment because he could not afford that much and they've cut him off and I assume that'll look bad on him mum credit rating ? (though her phone is still connected)
Good Luck !

Not at all, by signing the contract you are saying you understand you are responsible for any bills clocked up, if you are happy to get a contract phone for your daughter in law you are free to do so...........with a clear conscience.

I'm 21 and my Mother-In-Law got me a phone when I first moved in at the age of 19, which she still pays for. So, I don't think it's illegal.

No its not, but you will be responsable for any illegal stuff that happens from that phone and all the costs.
But if you trust your daughter then its fine.

It is 100%legal.
As long as the bill is being paid in full and on time, that will be fine.
Besides, the company has no idea who is using it.

Hehe! I'm 16 and dad pays my bill. Just been to France and the bill will probably be around £100. Fortunately, I get the invoice via email so he doesn't get a chance to see it!

No problem, but you would be responsible for the bill if it were stolen or she failed to pay

No, but you are liable for all charges made on the phone.
