I posted this in the religious/spiritual section, and one of the responders recommended that I post it in philosophy, so here goes:

Taoists believe that time is cyclical rather than linear, as is believed in the west. My question is: how is this possible? I don't mean how is it possible that someone can believe this, but rather what is a good explanation of cyclical time? Does this relate to the belief that the universe has always existed, but has collapsed in on itself over and over again, only to re-expand? Can this be tied to the emerging hypotheses that it may someday be possible to see before the time of the Big Bang? I have this sort of get together thing for school this monday. I want to go, have fun, make new friends, be myself, and all that other stuff.

But, i have a problem! I'm really really shy and it's hard for me to do all these stuff.

I really need some.. i mean ALOT of advice! so please help me!!! i need all the advices i can get so please reply. It is sort of urgent too so the soone you answer the better.

I live in hawaii and the conditions are perfect for breeding but how do i breed them in a 10 gallon tank do i need to take out everything lik rocks and plants. Do i need to add anything new to the tank?
currently in the tank are
one piece of drift wood 12" long
Anubius nana plant
sword plant
aqaurium rocks
a 5-15 gallon filter
i have a softer fiter that goes in the water and not on the tank
so what do i need to add or take out to make breeding possible?
oh and i have other fish like 3kuhlii loaches 2 albino Corydoras and like 10 ghost shrimp

i looked up some birth control methods. i found stuff about the pill, a patch, condoms duhh, injections, and more. im on meds for ADD and i dnt no wat a combination of 2 diff drugs will do to me. and how can i get a hold of any type of birth control stuff without my parents finding out.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Bush-lover. But lets look at liberals and leftists ranting about how 'evil' we are. Cindy Sheehan called USA a fascist state. WTF? If USA was a fascist state, she wouldn't even be able to say a word about the war and every protester would be either shot or put into concentration camps. Tookie Williams, a convicted murderer sentenced to death, became a hero for leftists because they think that his execution was a racist decision. Are they nuts?! He murdered four innocent people. What the hell does it have to do with race? There are white people who are being executed, but I don't see anybody complaining about racism. When another black armed suspect is shot by the police, the officers are being accused of racism and black people claim they are being oppressed. Are you moron? A suspect was shot because he was threatening innocent people, not because of his race. I'm sick of those retarded, ignorant and totally ridiculous claims of oppression and racism!!

My credit is poor and it has been at a stand still for at least 4 yrs now. I had 2 accounts that went bad when my financial situation changed so they were cancelled and now I do not have open credit accounts and cannot qualify for new ones! What can I do? I know about secured cards and that is something I am looking into but what else can I do? Do cell phone companies report to credit bureaus? Any ideas????
