By the fruits of the religion you will know it?

Why do you want to buy into a religion that has inspired people, in the name of God and devotion, to commit crimes against humanity?

Throughout history, over and over again, Christianity has had need to persecute, to kill, to bring harm to others in the name of God and devotion.

By the fruits of the religion it is known whether it be a benign faith or a malignancy, an addiction, a cancer upon humanity.

Yes indeed, there is some good in Christianity. But it is the bait that every hook requires in order to get you to swallow it.

Sugar is also sweet, but a diet of nothing but sugar will kill you.

Why do you not admit that christians have commited crimes against humanity, and that you lack the authority to preach to anyone about the condition of their soul?

Isn't it obvious Christians have enough trouble with their own souls?

i have a severe phobia of frogs/toads - any kind. it is hindering my everyday life as i live in the country...tree frogs get on my porch,toads are all over my yard when it rains and at night...i love outdoor activities,but i am always on the look out for them. i have nightmares about them and have a paranoya (?) about them getting in my home. i have had a severe fear of them since i was young enough to walk - my mom says when i was small,i would freeze and scream if i saw one in the yard - i know logically they cannot hurt me,but i cannot get over this.i don't have medical insurance so i can't see a mental doctor or anything,and i cannot face it - i see them all the time,and it puts me in extreme panic mode. what can i do to get over this - it is horrible. i know we all have things to us that are creepy,or will scare us - but when it hinders your ability to do certain activities and makes you paranoid,there is a problem that needs help.

please help - thank you.

My boyfriend has a bit of a temper. He shouts at me and swears at me a lot. When I said I didn't like it, he said that's the way he is with everyone and I'm the only one with a problem. Should I allow him to do this to me, am I being too sensitive? Or should I hold my ground?

He's refused to apologise for screaming and shouting at me because my phone cut out when we were having a conversation. It wasn't my fault the phone cut out.

When I asked if he really needed to shout at me, he started shouting even more saying that I had a problem and to stop trying to change him. What???

I can't seem to do anything right. He whispers under his breath to me, and is fine sometimes and then just explodes at others. He has bad road rage & I swear sometimes he drives dangerously because he knows it scares me.

I've seen him hit tables and a kick a bag when he's angry, and he points his finger in my face.

Are these warning signs or is he just venting? I'm confused.

My dad says he has never done better financially. I have 5 brothers and sisters so right there my dad saves $2,500 just on the increase in the child tax credit. Not to mention the elimination of the marriage penatly. Why Clinton was punishing married couples I will never know. My trades a lot of stocks and my dad says Bush's reduction in the capital gains rate is putting me & my brother through college. Thanks Mr. Bush. I will have no loans when I graduate thanks to you!

My little neighbour found a hurt robin in her backyard one day ago and is trying to nurse him/her back to health. Her dog got the baby. The live one drinks water but has not eaten since yesterday. She sits quietly, not moving. My little friend is doing all she can. Any tips? She cannot go to the vet.

We have a close neighbor who has about 10 cats, that I know of... I may not be counting properly... but I know there are 5 kittens, a female (who had the kittens probably 3 months ago) a male tabby... and 2 or 3 black and white grown cats - not sure on the gender.

Our neighbors have not tried to get rid of any of the 5 kittens, and now they are getting almost too old to be given away. The mom is now in heat again, and we've seen her getting some "action" from the male tabby.

I'm expecting to see even more cats... I love cats, but I'm sick of the pooping in my flowerbeds and over-running the small col-de-sac we live in... and the cat fights at night!!! They're scary!

What can I do? The neighbors how "own" all these cats don't seem to care about them, besides feeding them and letting them breed more.

(Don't get me wrong, I love cats and have one...but I can just see at least a few of these kittens getting pregnant and having MORE, along with their mother)!!!

My husband gives me everything I want, except a child. He says he doesn't want one. But I do. So I went off the pill and got pregnant. Now he is freaking out, saying I trapped him. hello, we are married. He was trapped anyway. We aren't white trash, we can afford a kid. But he is mad. Countless murders have been committed in the name of Christianity by the followers of Christ. While Jesus himself could not be placed directly at the scene of any of these crimes, could charges similar to those Manson was given not be brought upon Jesus?
