Charles Manson acquired a "family" of followers in the late 1960s that eventually committed a series of murders. While there was no evidence that Manson himself committed a murder, he was charged and convicted with conspiracy and he was also found guilty of the murders themselves, through the joint-responsibility rule of conspiracy.

Countless murders have been committed in the name of Christianity by the followers of Christ. While Jesus himself could not be placed directly at the scene of any of these crimes, could charges similar to those Manson was given not be brought upon Jesus?

Manson was charged and convicted to death, and lucky for him, his state abolished the death penalty. He was convicted by his peers on evidence not what you thought. get your fact straight.

Christians did kill in the name of Christianity, but never because of what Jesus teaching, but in contrast to his teaching. Get your fact straight.

maybe you should get your head out of the sand, and get your fact straight.

Where did you ever read Jesus teaching war or hate! bring it! or keep your piece. Check your facts, First.

You don't like the Christians, fine that is your choice, but at least don't insult others, have some respect. at the very least give others some respect by not insulting them, and those whom they care for.

LIVE AND LET LIVE.

Manson was a evil man who did have something to do with those murders though he didn't stab or shoot anyone himself, he did convince them to commit the murders. Jesus never taught any kind of violence, his disciples even asked him once should we call down fire on them because they denied us? Jesus told them that is not the way.

You are right countless murders have been committed in the name of Christianity by wealthy power hungry evil men that took certain scripture and twisted them to fit their needs to justify what they where doing. The lord all mighty will make sure they are punished for what they have done.

seriously- you have some issues. Should the Profit Mohammad be brought up on charges for 500 times the murders? EVERY religion has extremists. What Christian person or organization tried to commit a crime against you???? You seem pathetic enough to jump on the "hate the Christians" bandwagon of the left-wing society. You just have nothing to back that up with.

The murders that were committed under Manson were carried out at his instruction.

Christ never instructed people to kill, but to love. Those that kill in Christ's name are mis-directed and do not understand Christ's teachings.

I don't think so, because the crimes they commit do not really follow the teachings of Jesus. I mean, I could kill people in the name of Bob Barker, but that doesn't mean he will be brought up on criminal charges.

I find your question somewhat amusing.

So, answer me this question...

If a devout Democrat, who believes strongly in Senator Clinton and supports her entire agenda; commits murder in the name of Senator Clinton. Should she also be charged? After all it was commited in her name and through the "joint-responsibilty rule of conspiracy" is Senator Clinton then also guilty?

I'm not at all suprised, that I received some thumbs-down. As a matter of fact, I knew that would happen; thanks for the support :)

Jesus will return, but saved people will meet Him in the sky. There will be nothing left here when Jesus returns. Change before then or at least enjoy your life while you can.

I am quite sure the world would attempt to convict and kill Him. I don't think the reasoning of man has gotten any better since the day that Christ walked the earth, baring the many who are saved.
