Right now my vision is 20/70 20/100.
I have glasses,. but like NEVER wear them bcuz I don't like them very much....I just don't like anything on my face...and we can't get contacts for me right now. I was wondering....
If I don';t wear my glasses, will my vision get worse? By how much? Does it take long?

Can anyone describe--and give evidence of--any universal truths outside of these four claims:

Time exists.
Space exists.
Energy exists.
Matter exists.

Isn't everything else just a derivative of one or more of these four things? Please, only include what you believe to be universal truth that can be substantiated with empirical evidence or logical reasoning. I'm willing to hear out any long-winded examination.

I'm planning on majoring in Journalism, and I have been thinking about choosing a minor in either English or Writing.

Well, first of all, I would like to know if choosing a minor is a good idea (do a lot of people do it?); secondly, I would like to know what would be better: English or Writing; and finally I would like to know if there would be a significant more amount of work?

You should also know that I would like to write for newspapers as a living.

I found a pretty good deal on an Apple iBook G3....

*500MHz
* 20 GB ATA hard drive
* Mac OS X

All of this for only $289.99.

The problem is that I reallly don't know much about Macs.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!


Is this limited in anyway? I am not going to be doing any media editing... mostly school work, browsing, and adding music to my iPod.

I'm a 19 year old male who lives with my grandparents. It sounds pretty depressing but I'm all they have. I usally do chores around the house for them and now I would like to cook for them. low and behold they ask you...NOT rude..."where do you work?"....and you answer politely..then they said.."well, how much money do you make?"...now that i am taken back with....whoa!!...it took me a couple minutes to think of something to say back..."enough to support myself"...do you THINK THEY GOT THE HINT???? Plus don't they realize that is personal and i may not ever see their son again???...i figured if they would ask me that...WHAT ELSE WILL THEY ASK???

We had to learn about evolution in our biology class, but why can't they let us learn about creation? Wouldn't it be easier to teach both so we know both sides not just what scientists want us to know? What are your ideas about it? Should they teach both, one or the other, or not teach them at all?
