Right now my vision is 20/70 20/100.
I have glasses,. but like NEVER wear them bcuz I don't like them very much....I just don't like anything on my face...and we can't get contacts for me right now. I was wondering....
If I don';t wear my glasses, will my vision get worse? By how much? Does it take long?

Yes your vision will get worse. You will be straining your eyes by squinting and not being able to see properly. Its hard to say how long and how much because we are all different. A lot of people wear glasses you shouldnt be embarrassed or feel bad for wearing them. Wouldnt you rather be able to see or would you rather fall in a crowded store because you didnt see that spilled water or that person? I rather wear the glasses!!

depending on your age, your vision may change up until around 20-25 years old. and then when you reach about 40 you'll start to change again.

I hated wearing glasses, I now how contacts but in all reality it just comes down to personal preference. Do you want to see the beautiful world around you? Or would you rather "fit in" cosmetically speaking?

Headaches will probably be a common thing, and I personally would say where the glasses or save your money for contacts... they aren't too expensive.

It will definately get your vision worse over a period of time. I did the same thing and now i have fairly thick glasses where I can't even get contacts. I wish I had perfect eyesight! Trust me get a soft lens contact or just wear your glasses.
I have been wearing glasses since 2nd grade becuase I used to watch tv 24 hours a day.

my older brother tried to avoid wearing glasses for years. i think optometrists have said it can make your eyes worse, but not by much. my parents finally gave in and got him contacts.

I don't think that this will make you worse, but sacrificing your ability to see ofr vanity isn't a good idea. You would fail the eye exam if you are trying to get your driver's license.

I can't stand them either. You may get eyestrain., headaches, but it shouldn't make things worse.
Good luck.
