I work for a dealership and am on FMLA leave because I just had a baby. I was planning to return and am supposed to next week,but my babysitter is moving and I dont want to leave my baby or 2 yr old with anyone else and I dont have enough money for a daycare. Its all last minute and I dont know how to break it to my employer. How can I quit without burning bridges?

I remember having this show (thought it was a movie and maybe it was but my dad is pretty sure it was a tv show) I think it was just the pilot and then go cancelled or something. JP lives with us 3-4 days a week.When he comes over he hangs/climbs all over us the whole time.If i'm on the phone or watching tv he "hits me" in the head or yells in my ear to irratate me.I ask him nicely to stop but he just laughs and does it more.My fiance does nothing.When i can't stand it anymore i have to ask my fiance to get him to stop and all he says is "Buddy she does not have any patience for u right now so please leave her alone" like i'm being bad for not letting him "beat on" me. He does this to his dad and mom too but they just let him do it.Hes not staved for attention as both his parents cater to him 24/7.But if his dad has to do something(shop/clean) that does not center around him he has a fit.His parents were divorced when he was just a baby so this is not all new to him he just seems to be getting worse.Please what can i do?Why does my fiance let him do this?

My mobility Scooter has two 12 volt jell batteries that don't seem to hold a charge. Normal usage hours is 6 hours between charges, I am lucky to get 1-2 hours. The batteries are new (about 6 months). Dealer says that the batteries are good. Can anyone give me ideas??

I was under the impression that all businesses operating in the state of California are to comply with a 7 minute "grace period" for employees who are running late - and that only after the 7th minute, they are considered late. Am I wrong in this? If anybody has input or even a state website that states this, could you please post it? And to be clear - this isn't just in regards to state workers - all businesses in California. Thank you for your help...

I just got a 2000 ford focus and Ill admit its not in the best shape but I can afford it so it'll have to do for now. But I'm kind of car retarded. Yesterday my tires started making this god awful squeaking/whistling sound (it sounds like it is just my back right one but idk) anyways it only does it when I break or start to go and it only does it if I have been driving for 15- 20 mins. I dunno what the hell it is. I would normally have my boyfriend's brother or my uncle look at it but ofcourse they both have to be out of town right now so I thought if I could figure it out then it might save me money if I had an idea of what it is. Does anyone on here have a clue of what it may be? Thanks

hi. im 35-36 weeks pregnant. and i have a few questions...
my doc appt. was today. he said im dialated to a one, im 50% effaced and the babys head has started dropping and im at a negative 3??? what does all of these things mean??? is being dialated to a one a big deal? what does being 50 percent effaced mean? and what is the negative 3?? is there anyway to tell APPROXIMATELY how much longer by these facts? please helppp..... im miserable.

Basically I want to hear people's experiences, what cities they were in, what hostels they stayed at and the cost. I know the cost varies for specific matters (where you stay, how much you eat, how long you're there) but I was thinking of saving about 6,000 dollars. I was thinking of traveling for a month. The GAO just did an undercover sting in which they were able to obtain a licence for nuclear material without appearing in person, in 28 days. The licence was mailed to a UPS store. They then altered the document and were able to successfully purchase enough nuclear material to build a dirty bomb.

Looks like our security priorities are a little screwed up.

Ie it was always the case that the older half with big jobs purchased the tickets.

The younger crowd without the like £150 just to get in and £200-£300 cash needed inside


Used to hop the fence and as well as that the entry fee was cheaper. Much cheaper say 1/3 of the price a decade ago.

Everyone was happy with that arrangement.

The tickets sold out, the youngsters had the thrill of sneaking in (like the older lot who now paid did when they were young).


the security did very well in £5 per person bribes, beer, joints and kisses off girls to let people in. Created a community feeling, the youngsters added to the atmosphere and all the stalls did far better business and the charities did well.
