I hear everyday about not pulling out of the war. If there are no weapons of mass destruction, why are we still there, what are we trying to accomplish?

I live in lower Michigan. Temps can get as low as -5 F in the winter. Pond is about 5 ft deep.

Does anybody know if the Navy needs people? I was wondering if the navy is like the air force. I mean are they severely overmanned like the air force or are they undermanned like the Army and Marines. The reason I ask is because I am seriously thinking about joining the Navy, but I want to go somewhere where I am needed and can find a good job. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I made a bid on a house and supposedly there were 2 other offers (or so the story goes...) and Coldwell Banker rejected my offer and did not counter. She said "my offer was the lowest and needs to be higher". Seems like Coldwell Banker does not have the Seller's best interest especially when I am a qualified buyer. I don't have time for this BS.

my boyfriend and i are getting married next summer. we are both 22 and while our friends still live with their parents and have no bills, we have an apartment and everybill you can imagine. here comes the problem. every time our friends invite us out, we kindly say thanks, but no thanks because we would rather save our money for a house, as we are doing, instead of dropping 50/60 bucks on a night of cocktails. so our friends started treating us to drinks when we go out because they want us to go out with them. i dont like this because i feel like i am a charity case. cant they understand that they have a larger disposbale income than we do at the moment? why are they paying for us all the time? its not just drinks, its now dinner and movie/show tickets and everytime they say, you'll pay next time, but they never let us. whats the right course of action here?

A couple years back I was pheasant hunting here in Central Iowa. I had the worst luck that year. I couldn't find a rooster to save my life that year. The season ended first part of January like it always does. The next day after season ended, I was in the farm truck on my way to one of our building sites, and passed one of our fields that I had hunted several times that season with no luck. As I live and breathe, there were at the very least 100 roosters and hens in a giant cluster near the entry to that field. I could have chewed through metal I was so mad. For the life of me I can't figure where the hell they came from. We even had dogs with us when we hunted that patch just a couple weeks before. Has anything like this ever happend to you. Share your story, and the best one will get ten points. Looking forward to your stories. Take care.

A few times I have seen aura around people and lights. I saw shadow people before and one even touched me when I was nervous, infact I wasn't scared after it touched me it kind of felt like it wanted to protect me, it made me feel safe. When I was a small child I prayed for it to snow. I live in a place where it is virtually impossible for it to snow because of its climate and it actually did snow. I was able to see a tragic event unfold right before my eyes in a dream that I had of a relative, it was almost like I was there with her observing the event. I couldn't even be there for I wasn't even born yet and no one even told me about this event. I approached my relative and told her about it and she was surprised that I even knew about for she hasn't told anyone about it. I can channel what I believe to be energy in my hands, it'll start with a tingling sensation they'll get really hot. What does this all mean? I believe in Jesus Christ and don't do voodoo/witchcraft.

My little darling is 20 months (1 yr 8 months) and he first 4 top row teeth has decayed badly because of milk and juice. I was giving it diluted to her as she slept at night. I have stoped that trend it was hell but we're good now. I would like to know hwo long it will take for them to grow back. Thanks

Why is my naturally dark skin, thick lips and nice figure deemed as ugly on me, but when manufactured and placed on a different culture, why are the full lips then sexy, the dark skin appealing and youthful, and the curves said to be attractive? But I have the same stuff naturally, and I'm said to be plain. Why? Are certain races just not admitting the truth.

My grandfather has been very sick since February. After back and forth to the hospitals and rehabs to get him better and home, he still needs alot of care and rehab. He is in a Nursing Home now to try and rehab him to walk (his left leg gives out due to diabetes I believe and perhaps a stroke) and then hopefully get him home. He drove and did everything for his whole family and my grandmother up until he got too sick and is now in this situation. He really does not want to be there, but he is pleasant. What can I do or my family do to lift his spirits to make him more happy or comfortable???
