i have replaced ignition coil, 2 fuel pumps, 2 carbs, two condensors, wires, plugs, and still no solution. car drives fine on start up, but once i drive it for 10 to 15 minutes the idle drops and the car will backfire if i try to accelerate normally. it just recently started so no its not the fuel lines too close to the engine. plus i put a special coating around the lines to kleep them cool. wat could it be? will the points cause this, will timing being off cause this and why only after a 10 minute drive? anyone with the answer and an explanation of why their answer would or might be right will get best answer.

i removed the intake and no..not aluminum. its was cast iron i believe. it was very very heavy for a manifold. i remember thinking that when i replaced lifters and pushrods. i dont think the gasket is bad. also i noticed when it dies on me and i try cranking it white smoke comes out

My mom has a thing for frying the heck out of meats...for example her fried chicken looks like mummy buttcheeks (Daddy Warbuck's wife)...lol...was he even married in that Annie show? whatever... My dad who is "Mr. rare steak" always complains about it.

Oh, how about if they want you to cook their favorite dish, one that has an ingredient that you hate or are grossed out by...maybe like when you clean squid for making fried squid rings? Anyone out there not like the food of their culture or vice versa?

I have about 200 glads planted in 2 beds about 50 feet apart. The corms come from many different sources. One bed gets plenty of water and the other needs to depend on mother nature. (not particullary generous this year) They are in full sun. The leaves stopped growing at about a foot and started to have streaks of brown before totally turning brown and dying. When I pulled some up, I noticed that the corms have not grown and one was rotted or eaten. I have no problem with underground critters and I can see no insects. The plants have about 6 sq inches each. I have many other crops near and so far only the potatoes might be having problems. What am I dealing with here and what can I do? I have huge gardens. Some of the soil was brought in from compost piles from the county and some from my own animals. Help?

I am constantly amused by questions here...it would seem that younger people view us as grouchy, ugly, marginally insane, depressed, left-over people who get in everyone's way! If a person was travelling there for a year on a working holiday visa what is the best way of dealing with it.

Would it be a good idea to open a bank account in OZ when you get there then transfer all of your saved money from your UK bank account to the AUS bank account?

How easy is it to open a bank account in OZ if you are a UK citizen just travelling there?

I was wearing fuzzy shirt and a kid with a balloon passed by me and the balloon stuck to my shirt. It was embarrassing because the balloon had a hard time getting off the clothes and kept trying to cling back on like a magnet.

I walked by a hot air balloon and felt like I was being dragged backwards. I looked up and the hot air balloon was starting to pull down towards me. I started running but could only walk like I was up against a hard wind with the static pulling me to the balloon. Eventually the balloon overtook me and stuck me to the side of it. I had to spend all day riding around the hot air balloon travels till the static wore off.
