how and when is right time to take away the pacifer and bottle? He is already drinking out a sippy cup with water in it. i have tried to give him juice but he wont drink it in the sippy cup. He will drink juice from a regular cup. i think he looks at his sippy cup as for water only and his bottle is for his milk. He does not take a bottle before bed. He has his last bottle around 4pm and then he drinks some water with his dinner around 6:30 and then after his bath. When i have put milk in his cup he just takes little sips from it and throws it across the room. He only really takes the pacifer at his naps and bed time. His molars are coming in so he has these crying episodes and he will go get his pacifer when he needs it. i just dont want it to be a bad experience.

I bought it from the store freezer-burned, a whole bag of it. I didn't save my receipt and don't know if I can take it back or not. Seems like a waste of money. But don't want to eat anything bad.

Logic fallacies are intellectual tools to help identify "bad thinking", ideas or thoughts that have inherit flaws which can draw people to irrelevant or poor conclusions.

The infinite monkey theorem would seem to dictate that even the most improbable event can be true with enough iterations. If this is true, then is it possible that some event that we would deem logically fallacious may eventually become true ?

I have been saying the phrase 'Oh my God' Or even using the word 'damn'.

These are words originating from the Bible, and I find it wierd that I use them. Is this because of child indoctrinization?

What are your views?

My two friends and I were having some drinks on Saturday night and decided to all book a Carribean cruise, which we did. When I woke up in the morning I was like omg what did I do? Yeah yeah, I was silly, but that's besides the point. Anyway my husband it totally fine with me going, I asked his permission before I booked it. But, now I'm feeling kind of guilty and really want him to come, he says no because it's a girl's trip. What should I do, now that I'm sober again I'm feeling really guilty and really wanted it to be him and I for both of our first cruises. He is totally fine with this, I'm the one that's feeling bad. I can cancel with a full refund and tell my friends I can't get the time off work, but then I'll feel bad too, I don't know what to do, any suggestions. I love my husband so much and really want to go with him the first time, but I love my friends too and like I've said he is fine with me going. What do you guy's think? Should I be feeling bad like this?

I bought a club pogo yearly membership last week, and a few days after it happened, my password had been stolen, When I finally recovered my account, I learn my account has been banned and basically wasted a complete yearly membership. Being a man of 71 living off social security, it was kind of a letdown to see this happen. Could anyone send me a pass so I could at least enjoy a little bit of my purchase?

I know that there are several APIs available to do this but I want to know whether is there any way to carry out telnet / ftp using Runtime.exec() command in java. Because what I am doing is not working-
I created the process as follow:
Runtime rt=Runtime.getRuntime();
Process p=rt.exec("telnet 12.42.28.123 25");

I got the input stream of this process by:
InputStreamReader isr1=new InputStreamReader
(p.getInputStream());

I got the error stream of this process by:
InputStreamReader isr2=new InputStreamReader
(p.getErrorStream());

I got the output stream of this process by:
PrintWriter pw=new PrintWriter
( p.getOutputStream() );

Now I should be able to read the input stream as well as error stream of this process. Ishould also be able to write further commands on the output stream of this process but neither i/p,err stream, nor o/p stream is working and the function p.waitFor() always returns -1. I am using Windows XP operating system with java version

What can you do about unreliable friends? I go to college out-of-state, and they never come to visit me, despite my visits to their schools. I always plan trips and get-togethers during the summer, but they always fall apart. It's "Oh, man, that costs money. I can't pay for that.". And the thing that pisses me off most: last-minute back outs.

Last weekend, I planned a trip to the beach for Sunday. I had six of us going. So, Saturday I pack up my car, make a lunch, get prepared... Then Saturday night, I get multiple phone calls: "Something came up..." "I'm in another city and can't get a ride..." "Oh, I decided to do something else instead." All of this at 10:30pm the night before! Needless to say, no beach trip.

Will they ever get their act together?

My kids are 8 and almost 3. I'm not the best at having fun with my kids, so I really need some help. I'm on leave from work, so I need some low cost ideas. Indoor and outdoor activities....it's 98 outside today, so we are definitely staying indoors.

Thanks

They believe that the present level of consumption (thus production) is "unsustainable" though they've thought this for generations and consistently been proven wrong.

They believe that the present methods of production are unsustainable in the long run - but neo-classical economists don't disagree with that. It's just that the price mechanism has always rewarded those who invented new methods and told producers when they had to switch to those new methods, let's use these ones while they're still the most efficient.

They believe in a zero sum game - that if there's a growing income gap it must be that some group is losing out - even though the numbers clearly show otherwise and that, for the most part, the 'groups' aren't even permanent, the differences are between experienced and inexperienced workers.

The only reason I can think of to argue with the appropriateness of the term "Malthusian" to describe the Democrats is that, in the end, Malthus admitted he was wrong.
