Alexi Lalas claimed in an interview that David Beckham playing soccer in the US will make "futbol" a dominant US sport and his fame will eclipse Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Shaq, etc.What's your opinion?

I had an interview a couple of weeks ago. There was little rapport between us and a feel awkward pauses and strange stares.

Just want to know others' experience to boost my hopes. I'll know whether or not I got the job tomarrow.

When we have clearly demonstrated that it will not? We defeated amnesty not once but TWICE now. Yet they keep thinking that it's gonna happen. Are they in denial? Do they not realize that no matter how many times an amnesty bill is presented we will be there to ensure it never sees the light of day?

This thing has my dad and I baffled: we can't figure out what its for. It looks like a compass with one of its legs missing. On its end you can see it has a detachable piece, which has what appears to be a pencil eraser on it.

On its circular edge degrees are marked out. The 100 degree mark is specifically marked by a metal notch, and there appears to be an inner circle that you can rotate to select degrees or something.

Any help you guys can give would be appreciated!

I am sprucing up my yard big time and my flower beds are rich, very amended and lots of them and I think landscapers told me before to blow in or use a very fine bark because it keeps the soil moist and keeps the weed seeds out and I have noticed that as I see professional businesses this is what they do. I grow a lot of dahlias and Connells and Swan Island has said never spray like weed killer anywhere around them as it goes into the soil and into the tubers and poof, no more dahlias, so I have to get the best in bark mulch I can, altho a little at a time as I am on a fixed budget. so landscapers, bark ?????

i started tae-kwon-do not too long ago [about a month ago]
usually i feel fine after a session, but on occasion [3-4 times a month] we have a day that involves a serious workout, and i end up overheating, ive been told its because of my long hair [which is still too short to tye back, so that isnt an option]
i know its not just my out-of-shape-ness because there are 10 year old girls [im 14, and the girls are, no insult intended, "bigger", than me, and have only been doing it about a month longer].

how can i prevent this next time?
[other than drinking more water, which ive already tried]

I mean like slower than 20mph coz my instructor always makes me slow down but its so slow. I don't see anyone else going THAT slow. Why can't you just go 20?

AND another thing. I've forgotten a lot and i mean A LOT from my theory test, AND some things i don't think i ever knew. will that be a HUGE problem for me?

And coz of this I have no clue about some signs, like at a stop sign do you have to stop if there's nothing around, and for how long?

My angelfish have laid eggs in my aquarium. They are aggressive, so I have removed the other fish from the tank for the time being. Can somebody tell me how long before these eggs hatch, and will the angels eat the babies??

1. People who usurp their own religious beliefs to defend their policies. Which is a sin.
2. People who wish to force their religion upon others while simultaneously not living up to their religion's expectations. Which, according to Jesus, is a sin.
