As an Atheist I wonder how Xians can talk about going to an invisible house whilst thousands of innocent children die of starvation in Africa as a direct result of The invisible Sky Critter's not caring.

Would I want to go to a sadist's house?
Definitely not - I am not that forgiving.

it's unfair because this person has provided no good evidence of the existence of himself or his house. most atheists i suspect do not actually believe in an afterlife, but we can still think about the situation hypothetically.

I've never heard an Atheist complain that they won't go to Christianity's view of heaven. In fact, I've heard more say that they are happy not to go to such an evil place.

As for me and mine, I believe we are all children of G-d, and S/He doesn't discriminate based on faith. Your version of your god seems much more like a bully to me. But hey, if you like blackmail as far as the afterlife is concerned, have at!

Excuse me? Have you SEEN this line of dead atheist crying about not getting into heaven?

Sweetie, there is no line of disappointed dead atheist. Sadly, there is no line of disappointed dead Christians either. While I would love to see the look of shock when a Christian realizes there is no god, the fact is, after death there is NOTHING, so no one will actually be shocked.

We're saying the morality stinks. Even you can understand this.

If there was a mean boss in your town that only let his friends have homes, you'd be perfectly moral in saying "this is unfair morality." Now apply it to your own belief system! See? That didn't hurt a bit!

I have no interest in "going there". Just taxing them at the same level as other "houses".

The person? You give your deity quite the human qualities...appropriate since your book gives it very human failings like jealousy & pettiness.

This person exists only in your mind. When you die you cease to exist, forever.

Atheists DO NOT BELIEVE in the house of God. That's like believing in Valhalla but not in Wotan.
