There was a guy at the pool doing laps who had a "wardrobe malfunction" with his speedos, so his penis poked out of his left leg. He didnt notice it for a few laps by which time it had increased in size a bit with the motion of the water and was semi erect so more noticable. After a few laps he stopped, then noticed then quietly and quickly replaced it in its appropriate place. The water was very clear. If you were a woman swimming in the next lane, what would you think and what would you do if anything?

i need help dealing with this hurt, my ex really hurt me, its been 2 months and it still feels like someone ripped my heart out, she turned against me and pretty much tries to hurt me all the time, but i still miss her, im always trying to piece together what went wrong and in doing that i just get angry, and i know i should just forget and move on, and i have tried but for some reason at the end of the day im back to thinking about her again, i get the odd positive momment where i think nah i don't need her then a few momments later im back to feeling really low, the most common answer is move on, but i am unable to move on, i feel so rejected and betrayed its just so difficult to let go, i either miss her or am angry with her, how do i seal this deal? she mean't so much to me and she kinda still does, how can i switch these feelings off?

off should i be that my 17 yr old daughter was allowed to buy smokes for her friend?

1 being only slightly annoyed, 10 being highly ticked.

my daughter has a friend that is 18 who smokes, but she (said friend) doesn't have id (no license or even photo id)...so the gas station wouldn't sell them to her. my daughter went in to see if she could buy them. they didn't even ID her...the guy said "oh, you have a facial piercing, so you have to be 18". She informed him after he had scanned the smokes that she was 17 and his reply was "oh well, it will be $4.23" and he still handed them over to her.

I remember the day my mother told my yougest sister that all the fairytales she believed in were made up. My sister took it well, she was a very intelligent young lady and always thinking ahead. She asked why anyone would want to trick kids into believeing such a thing. My mother replied that it's nice to believe in fairytales when you're young. My sister said that she'd rather have been told the truth, and that Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and God didn't make her world any better, and she hated going to mass every week. My mother said "No, God is real". My sister looked at her quizzically and siad "I'm not stupid mammy."

A bill came before the House today, HR 1606, known as the Online Freedom of Speech Act. The main idea was that online communications (such as blogs, web sites, etc) were not considered “communications” according to the rules governing the FEC. Thus, it would ensure that those of us who discuss political matters online wouldn’t run afoul of the FEC. Of course, I’ve taken the Patterico Pledge, so even if the FEC tries to regulate my conduct I’ll be more than happy to tell them exactly where they can go. It is a truly non-partisan bill, as it was introduced by Rep Hensarling (R-TX) in the House, and an identical bill (S. 678) was introduced in the Senate by Harry Reid (D-NV).

The measure was to be passed under suspension, which means that it requires a 2/3 vote in the affirmative to pass, not the typical simple majority. This is typically done with non-controversial measures expected to pass easily, and thus measures are passed with limited debate and without any amendments added during the debate process. In fact, the two other measures voted on under suspension today were passed by votes of 407-0 and 408-0.

HR 1606 failed by a vote of 225-182, about 55%, well short of the required two-thirds. That link has the vote tallies, so I’d suggest taking a look. If you’re a blogger and your Representative voted against this measure, you just might want to give him a call. In fact, that’s grounds to use all your bloggy powers to get his butt tossed out of office come mid-term election time. Thankfully, my Rep, Tom Price, voted yea on this one.

Republicans voted in the affirmative 179-38, and Democrats voted against by a 143-46 margin. Now, I just wonder why Democrats vote so overwhelmingly against online freedom of speech? Can someone help me out on this? This seems like a pretty strange thing to oppose. After all, the things I read on DailyKos and DU are dangerously close to being obscene, and Democrats are always willing to defend obscenity on any level. Could it be that they’re trying to limit a medium they’re destined to lose? I’m quite sure that’s why they hate talk radio. The internet is like talk radio for the masses. I mean, are they so afraid of competing in the realm of ideas and the written word that they dare not let us plebes speak out?

ok, i overheard this argument of an atheist and a christian, who argued that if God really exist, he musn't really omniscient since if He does, then we dont exist....
why? cuz God is holy.... and He hates sin... right?
so why does he even bother to create Adam if afterward he would fall to sin and thing is God knows it in the first place!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
his action put us all in the misery...- says the atheist...
then the christian just sat down with nothing to say....

if you guys are all christians what would you say in defence?

I have not had sex in 2 months and I plan on not having sex for a while. I got tested for STDs about a month ago, I'm disease free and I want to keep it that way. But it really gets hard for me. I wouldn't say I'm addicted to sex, but I think about it quite often. I'm trying to abtain from having sex for a while, but I want to know how I can keep myself from getting in situations where I feel like having sex. So does anyone have any advice or tips?? Thanks.

My husband wants to go to a bachelor party in CA (we're in boston) in Oct. I'll be 8 months pregnant. Even if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't really be happy about this, but at 8 months along the idea of it really upsets me. The bachelor is a nice guy but tends to be very wild. Am I being selfish by not wanting my husband to go? I'm reluctant to say no as I'm already considered the witchy (with a b) wife who gets upset if he goes out to often.

Hebrews makes it very clear that without holiness "no one will see the Lord" (Heb. 12:14). James 2:17 also teaches that faith without works is dead.

On the other hand, Acts 16:31 says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved"? Paul affirms this same decisive act of salvation in Romans 10:9: "If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

How do you reconcile the contradiction? What does your Church teach about salvation?

A woman and a man are involved in a car accident; it’s a bad one. Both of their cars are totally demolished but amazingly neither of them are hurt.

After they crawl out of their cars, the woman says, “Wow, just look at our cars! There’s nothing left, but fortunately we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days.”

The man replied, “I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God!”

The woman continued, “And look at this, here’s another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of wine didn’t break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune.”

Then she hands the bottle to the man. The man nods his head in agreement, opens it, drinks half the bottle, and extends it back to the woman.

Politely, the woman refuses to accept the bottle.

The man asks, “Aren’t you having any?”

The woman replies, “No. I think I’ll just wait for the police…”
