Being only 13 should not keep you from using tampons- I mean there's no medical/physical reason to keep you from doing it, so if this is the reason that you don't like to use them, then you should go ahead and give them a try. If you simply don't feel comfortable using them or don't like them, then that's okay too... but I'm afraid that using pads while on your period will keep you out of the pool(s). If you're not embarrassed by the situation, perhaps you could disclose your concerns to someone (probably your mother), and maybe the trip to the waterpark could be pushed back to a later date.

You don't have to be a certain age to use tampons- go ahead and try it. Also, there are other methods. One is a cup. You can get it at Walgreens and you just insert it- but a tampon is much easier. Another is a sponge, I know people who swear by it by I just cant see myself doing that. I know it may sound gross, but if you are near the end of your period the cold water may actually stop it so you may be able to go without.

Learn to use tampons. There is no reason why a 13 year old can't use them. You are physically able to use them the minute you start your first period. They are harmless and comfortable.

You are allowed to use tampons at age 13. If you want to go swimming and go on the waterslides while you have your period, you must wear tampons.

They aren't painful to use. Buy a box of slenders, they are the thinnest.

Enjoy the waterpark!

Just try a tampon they never worked for me though. Just wear shorts and you will fine but take it easy and try not to get to wet...like don't go swimming plus that makes it kinda nasty for everyone else lol. If you don't feel comfortable just tell your family and they will understand and maybe they will be nice enough to make it another day.
