I should say right now that I'm not asking for your favourite baby names (I have no intentions of even getting married, let alone having children). I'm just curious about some of those awful names that you would never once consider giving a kid, or that you met someone with and wondered "who would name their kid that?". There's one in particular that I can think of- Kermit! It used to be a fairly common name, but I think the great Jim Henson ensured that it would never be a popular name again... (For kids, anyway; I'm sure it's a lovely name for pet frogs.)

Before anyone starts getting angry, I don't mean to offend anyone at all. I'm just simply wondering why it's so hard for some people to stay thin, or at least not too fat.

I mean, I excercise all the time. Every day. I do a quik workout every morning, and one at night. I tend to skimp on food. I often skip breakfast (if there's nothing good), sometimes lunch also, and I just pretty much eat something around the late afternoon, or a couple of snacks every day. And I don't even try to eat health food. I tend to eat some junk food (even too much sometimes), and yet I don't get fat at all.

So how hard is it to just excercise everyday (even a simple jog, few sit-ups), eat less (the less you eat, the more you don't miss), and just do it all the time. It seems easy to me. I don't get why fat people can't do that.

I want a visual of how the earth rotates around the sun. Also, i'd like to know if the sun itself rotates? I really want to get a better understanding of everything. I was told today that many of the stars are actually bigger in size than earth. Is this true? I just want to find more info on everything. I'm a visual type of guy. I learn better if I see. Any suggestion on videos or documentaries? I just don't understand everything in this rotating system. Please don't laugh. You can't knock a guy for wanting to learn.

I asked before about proselytizing and was told that the 7 Noahide laws are all that is required of non-Jews. Does this mean the Torah indicates that there have never been any prophets sent to other communities? What about wise people who are inspired? I adopted a kitten from a shelter on Tuesday and I just noticed that she has some flea dirt. I haven't seen any fleas, but she has been scratching some. What's the best method to treat a 8-10 week old kitten? I took her to the vet yesterday and the vet didn't even notice (or say) anything about it, and I didn't mention it because I hadn't seen it yet!
I also have 2 other adult cats and even though they haven't had much contact at all, I'm assuming I'll need to treat them as well.

hi. im 13 and today i was playing outside with my friends and when they left i went on my trampolean (its so tiny and only about a foot off the ground..it only fits one person..its one of those excersise ones) anyway.. i fell onto the grass on my left wrist. it got up and thought i was fine but now it kinda hurts. when i move my hand up and down it hurts and my wrist makes kinda like a clicking sound. it hurts to move a little. and my shoulder (left) hurts too. my wrist is not swolen at all. it just hurts to move up and down. IS IT broken or sprained or something? i didnt really fall so hard.

She treats me very nice & is a shoulder to cry on when I need somebody. & she doesn't misuse or take advantage of me, but because when her boyfriend comes over & eats my food & calls me names & misuses me & humiliates me because he's jealous because he wants more of her attention, my case manager said that makes HER not a good friend. I don't want to lose my friend because of what my case manager misinterpreted. How can I politely tell my friend not to let her jerk boyfriend over?
