My little sis wants to be on birth control. And I think its smart, she just turned 17, and has horrible irrgular periods. Mom flipped out when she asked her if she could go on it to regulate her periods. Its a few months later now, and she came to me for help. She has Blue Cross Blue Shield Child Health Plan, so doctor visits are only a 5 dollar co-pay and medicine (including BC is only a dollar per bottle.) I know that she is old enough to get it w/o her parents knowledge at any health clinic or what not. But can she go to her regular doc and get it. She has an appointment this afternoon that I'm taking her to, but when she gets the prescription filled will it show up on the insurance statement as birth control or will it just show as just a medication filling

We live in central NJ and there are no places for infants - 5 year-olds to play indoors. I am considering what I would need to know before getting to involved: I know things like Insurance, Rent and equipment. I would not have employees besides our immediate family to get started.

Everyone seems itnerested - but the big question is - if this is such a good idea - how come no one else is doing this?

I have heard that if i join any engg college and sit for entrance next year, i cannot admit to the college i get the next year because i have to pay the full fees of the previous college(i.e. around 2 lacs) and then only they will give me the t.c. But here is a great loss. Is it correct?

I included a link to a scientific paper in a previous post about Gentry's work on Polonium Halos.

One answer chose an exert listing Gentry's premises and saying that it was obviously beyond my understanding.

What he failed to mention, is that reading the rest of the paper helps give a better understanding of the premises.

He also failed to recognise, that as well as including the above link, I also included a more straight forward explanation as per:

I don't claim to be a geologist, but I have read several articles about polonium halos to gain a better understanding of what the young Earth creationists are claiming.

Do these guys have a problem with people in general learning about topics they're discussing or something?

Are they still hung up on the "tree of knowledge" issue?

My computer specs
ECS mother board (supports Pentium 4, DDR&DDR2 Ram)
pentium 4 processor
512 MB PC 400 DDR Ram
80 gig and 40 gig hard disk sata
combo drive dvd/cd-rom
128 MB Nvidia VGA
(all specs are newly bought except for the 40 gig HD w/c i reformat it into NTFS (i know it's a stupid thing to do, deleting the existing OS) coz i don't want to keep my win 98 OS)

I've tried to install windows xp more than 24 times but always failed to do so. I followed the mother board's manual for the default configurations, plug all the necessary devices, checked all IDE cables and power supply yet i still recieve a blue screen displaying different errors. i also try to run the the windows xp installer on my friends computer and it runs perfectly.

I succesfully installed an OS on my 40 gig HD using my friends computer yet when I plug it to my computer it can the detect the OS but wasn't able to set it up and it ends up re-starting.

Help please!
