Do you use your major in your work?

I got by first BA in Studio Art. I immediately followed up with attending a special effects makeup school in Orlando. I didn't have the money to stay in Orlando or move to LA to do the resume-building (aka-freebie) work needed to get established. I've pretty much been working in libraries ever since.
I am currently working towards a BA in history. My GPA is up enough now that I should be able to get into a graduate program & get a masters of library science. My goal is to do archival & preservation work.

I majored in Sociology with a focus on Social Services . After I graduated I went to work for Child Protective Services investigating child abuse and neglect. Did it for 9 years before I had an accident and became disabled.

I started out as Biology. Took Calculus and was like no way this is not for me.
So I switched to Health Sciences, and now that I have the degree, I'm beginning to realize that its a useless major in trying to find a job.

I have a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in German. I am sort of using my degree, because I'm working part-time as a Spanish tutor at a college. Also, since we have a large Hispanic community where I live, the knowledge of Spanish is often handy.:)

I am in school now and my major is Business Management and I use so much that I have learned in my work now. This covers many areas and I would recommend it

It began as Liberal Arts, then a double major in Spanish & Mathmetics, then Special Education, then Early Childhood Education, I use what I learned in my profession.

No college. I majored in the school of hard knocks',and yes I apply it everyday, and that's work.
