The people I see using the stuff seem to always be happy and full of energy. They also play video games real good! I think that meth to a gamer is like steroids for an athlete. I don't know, I don't see anything bad so far.

A Detroit city employee who says she can't work because a co-worker's perfume is too strong is suing the city.

Susan McBride's lawsuit, filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Detroit, says the work environment is in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

"This employee not only wore a strong scent, but also plugged in a scented room deodorizer," the lawsuit states. "Ms. McBride was overcome by the smell almost instantly, causing her to go home sick."

McBride wants a ban on such scents at work — and unspecified damages.

my surround sound receiver (Onkyo HT-R500) has been working for 3 years about now and all of a sudden the back right speaker (right surround speaker) wont work anymore. I reconnected the speaker wires for that speaker and it didn't do anything.

So does this sound like an internal hardware malfunction? I really dont think i blew the speaker because the back surround ones dont get entirely too loud.

Any ideas? Im all out.

Thanks in advance.

yesterday I was doing random research at the library and I found out that Hayes was the 19th president of the united states. I asked my parents about him and they both said that they'd never heard of him. Well, I edjucated them...but how important was it in your schooling to know the presidents?? do you remember them if you did learn them?

We've been together for a little more than a year. Still very happy with each other, and young enough for it to not be a sex drive issue. but neither of us has been really interested in sex lately we'd rather cuddle or just spend time together. I'm thinking it might be stress since her family has recently informed her that they don't want her dating me or even talking to me anymore. any ideas would be great....and of course, any ideas on dealing with it. thanks =D

Just think of the tragedy of teaching children not to doubt.

It is an interesting and demonstrable fact, that all children are atheists and were religion not inculcated into their minds, they would remain so.

If your watching an instructional video on how to fold origami designs, does it help to have a narrator reinforce verbally the folds as you see them?

My feedback elsewhere is "yes" but I thought I'd ask here... Thanks everyone!

My parents love my fiancee, but they don't necessarily think I should get married to him right now. They say its the fact that I'm too young (19, turning 20) and I have no goals in mind. Also the fact that he's in the Navy and he's going to move in a month. I had wanted to move with him, but they won't let me.

Only thing is; I'm in college, I pay bills, I get groceries for my family, and I'm getting myself a car. I'm financially responsible and such, but they bring up I'm not responsible enough.

HELP!

It didnt suprise me at all. Look at the history of these terrorist attacks. These are not being carried out by stupid people from some tiny village or living in a cave somewhere. The 911 hijackers for instance-all were college educated people from middle to upper class families.
I can already give you a description of the next terrorist attackers/bombers in the UK or America- their background and who they will be. They will be Islamic/muslims - college graduates, "professional" type people if you will. They could pass for businessmen or doctors or whatever. Really so normal and well educated that they wouldnt draw much attention. They will NOT be some uneducated poor bum living in a shack over in Iraq or somewhere.
