With out puttin to much detail into it I was abused by my father for 16 years when i turned 16 i finally got the courage to tell someone my whole family turned against me I had to face him in court without any support from my mother the judge gave him 8 years in prison he just got out and my mother wants me to forgive him well i cant i am afraid to face him i am 25 now and still have nightmares this man ruin my life i got heavy into drugs and achol to try to push the pain away well i have been clan now for 7 years but my question is should i forgive him is it ok for me still to hate him

Isn't that a bit delusional?

I'm a mature adult who has spent a great deal of time looking into various religions, and I can honestly tell you that I've encountered absolutely nothing that would lead me to consider the existence of god to be even remotely plausible.

Isn't it just the same as me suggesting christians are only here because they're wanting someone to shatter their faith for them?

Are poor people poor because they are lazy, uneducated, or just plain bad people?

And is the inverse logic true. Are rich people rich because, they are driven, smart, and good people?

Everytime I go thru a fastfood drive thru, I see a person working twice as hard as I do, but probably making half the money or probably even a third of the money. Then I get home and turn on the TV and see Paris hilton on Larry King sounding like a complete idiot.

Is blaming poor people for poverty tantamount to blaming a rape victim for being in the worng place?

and do non-western cultures hold this same view of class?

Okay so basically my life sucks right now. i just found out im transferring schools, my dad hates me ( i dont live with him), my moms going through menopaus and she actscrazy, all my friends from my elementary school are acting like bitches to me, my supposed "best friend" talks **** about me, im fat, and im afraid im never going to get a boyfriend. i dont know what to do anymore. everytime i try to be the "funny" one to cover up my physical flaws (the fatness) with my personality my "friend" taylor says im not funny. I am the oldest of 3 on my my moms side and i just found out my dad had ANOTHER kid. (my mom and dad are divorced). nobody takes me seriously when i say that i am reallly depressed because i was always the "funny" one and i have always kept that persona. I try to keep the humor going so no one can see what i am like on the inside. my dad is a total *** hole, and hes always telling me to lose weight- which only makes me eat more (im a compulsive over eater). someone help!

i hav this like daydream soap opera going on in my head. it's been going on for,literally, months. whenever my mind wonders, thats where it goes. everyday or so i add another scene or two. it has drama, violence, betrayal and where would a soap opera b without a little sex?

i have an entire storyline and everything! its just that sometimes i find myself spending more time in my soap opera than in the real world.

should i turn off the tv in my head so that i dont get carried away or just find a way to co-exist in these two worlds of mine?

your faith calls it? I just don't understand why people become total athiest. What drives a person to reject the possiblilty of a supreme Diety that has the power to change your life? What drives a person to reject the idea of an after life and instead believe that when you die that is it? I personally do not like the idea of me being all alone and every thing I do and all the events in my life is in my own hands and I control my own fate 100%. Why do non-religious people get fighting mad over Chrisians and others of religious faith? Is it so bad to believe in something better than what you have in this earth?

The 1972 Dolphins played the weakest schedule of any team to ever make a Superbowl. That is a fact. They played one team in the regular season that even had a winning record.

I think that the 1985 Chicago Bears have made their case as the greatest team of all time. Yes, they lost a game. They also played a much tougher schedule than the Dolphins (obviously). The Bears absolutely dominated the entire league with the greatest defense ever assembled. In fact, the entire defensive unit should probably be put in the Hall of Fame. Their margin of victory was about 18 points, a ridiculous margin at the professional level, higher than any other team. Their margin of victory in the Superbowl was the largest ever as well, until later surpassed by the '89 49ers... who are probably the only other team with Miami to vie for this title of GOAT.

Combined with playoffs: 18-1

both tied with the 84 49ers for a 16 game season.
