if you read teh condom box, then it will tell you that it is 99% effective, but studies have shown that they're only about 97% effective (not that that's low, but its not quite as accurate). Then, just pulling out on its own is about 80% effective... so with the two combined, then it's pretty effective. as to the people who said that if you use a condom, you don't need to pull out-- its still a good idea to protect from more than pregnancy. youre being responsible to protect from STDs as well!

Well, if there's very little to zero semen, then it's very effective. About 99% effeciency.
