Frequently I get told by christians here that I'm obviously trying to find god and that deep down I know he's real.
Really........???
Isn't that a bit delusional?
I'm a mature adult who has spent a great deal of time looking into various religions, and I can honestly tell you that I've encountered absolutely nothing that would lead me to consider the existence of god to be even remotely plausible.
Isn't it just the same as me suggesting christians are only here because they're wanting someone to shatter their faith for them?

Indeed.
I think that's exactly what we should say to them when they ask such asinine questions. Tell them that they are hear to have someone talk them down from their delusion. ;)

I am curious as to why atheists post at R&S. However, I am glad you are here because I love to share about Jesus anyway. Maybe you are not searching now but there may become a time in your life when you decide you need God and will remember what you have been told.
God wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4

it rather is easily possible, even in spite of the incontrovertible fact that i think of it relies upon how the guy's thoughts works and how lots publicity they have had to the different factor. as an example, it would be extremely easy for an atheist to look Christian in the event that they grew up in a Christian atmosphere with Christian human beings. i do no longer understand if any Christians could desire to look atheists. i think of Christians could be decrease than prepared to aim it, besides.

Not me! I am here for sharing and learning. I may not agree with everyone but it is interesting to see their points of view and their beliefs and compare/contrast them with my own. And, sometimes, people really make me think hard and search my Faith for the answer. But, so far, my Faith has sustained . I would love to see you accept Christ as your Savior, but, all I can do is let you know how I believe and hope that it makes an impression. I am not here to "force feed" anyone anything. Thanks for the question and have a great day!!

I suppose...
I'm a Christian, and I'm not looking to find a new religion. I just want to learn more about others' views and beliefs.
I'm sorry you do not know the joy of living in Christ. You really don't know what you are missing.
Have a good day!

Actually I come here because I think that the nonsensical questions, circular logic and blanket statements by many of the evangelical atheist's on here are just funny.
The evangelical atheist's on here are always good for a laugh when they try to package their insecurities and lack of knowledge in pseudo-intelligence.

It appears Christians need someone to challenge them, so they can get irritated and start believing in God again. If they were not challenged, they would let the whole matter die because it is unsupportable.

I would never assume what is in someone elses heart and mind. But apparently they have no trouble.
I'm sorry they have to rely on a fictional character to get thru life. They are missing so much.

I'm with ya...
But if someone addresses me and it's a generalization of all Atheists and other non-believers, I feel like I have to defend myself. Especially to those who seem intelligent instead of trolls.
