The pay is bad, no respect, and many citizens look the other way when cops need help.

In fact, just a week ago I witnessed a car veer off the road and side swipe a police car that had another car pulled over. The officer was hit by his own squad car and thrown into some brush. I just looked the other way and went on. I dont care about him. He must have been ok anyways as there wasnt even anything in the paper all week about it.

And people are right, I may need the cops someday and I will call them. They better show up and do their job or I will sue. It is a no lose situation.

I want to know that they would look like on my comp monitor, since I can run 720p, like all monitors. My monitor is 1680x1050 widescreen dell, and i have heard it can run 1080i with some scaling. The reason behind all of this is that I want to get a 360, but it's not worth it without HD television, and I can use my monitor for that. I would really appreciate the help.

Okay here's my situation. I was baptized as a baby in the Catholic Church but I never was involved in the church or anything like that meaning that I never did Communion or Confirmation. I'm an adult now at the age of 28 years old. I've recently decided to turn my life over to Christ and therefore I am pretty new to the whole fold. What I want to know is what's the next step? What do I do to make sure that I am a good Christian? I also don't have a denomination or section of Christianity that I claim. Is any of that important? Would I have to be baptized again or is once enough? Also I know this might sound weird but how do I salute people when I talk with them? Do I say God bless you with love in Christ or what? And also does that mean that we are one big Christian family as in brothers and sisters in Christ? I'm very confused. As much help as possible would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from all Christians regardless of what form of Christianity you claim.

I have a almost 5 month old yorkie/toy fox terrier. I know that being a pup she is still using her teeth to explore, but lately she's just gone up to people we've had over and just nipped their hands and doesn't stop even after we've said "NO BITE" and tried many techniques to try and teach her biting is wrong. We've tried the holding the mouth shut and saying "no bite", the "OWWW" technique, the standing up and leaving the room, the tap on the head and "no bite" (which I hate doing), even the finger holding down the tongue. None of them seem to work so is it ok/humane to get her a muzzle especially for when company is over cause it has gotten to the point where people don't like to come visit cause they know the pup will get nippy. She also likes to just nip me all the time, I have many cuts and teeth marks on my hands from nips. Is it ok to use a muzzle to try and teach her not to bite? What kind work the best and how long should I use it? Or are there other no bite techniques?

also, are there any other servants in the world that can vote on a $4,400.00 a year raise for themselves while being completely unable to pass any other meaningful legislation? It just seems odd to me that a person or persons can give themselves a raise for not doing their job. This applies to republicans and democrats as they are all guilty.

I admit he took steroids, but why are you guys discounting any injuries/concussions he suffered from his flying head butt? The damage that he was taking from that move had to be a lot more serious than the steroids that he used with the constant slamming of his brain against his skull.

However, from everything that has been said about Dr. Astin, it seems like he was treating Benoit properly for his condition and he wasn't going to jeopardize his license for what would be considered a paltry sum to juice up a single wrestler.

In my time spent working with German Shepherds, I've noticed that the most unhealthy dogs are those bred specically for conformation. If the so called, "slant-backs" of American show lines and "banana backs" of German show lines have been produced in pursuit of greater conformation, how can any rational person still defend this as a suitible goal for breeding?

What is the value in a breed standard if it produces dogs that can't work due to a lack of drives and physical health? Why value form over function, and isn't that backwards?

I'm sure that many disagree with me, so please state your case and discuss...

...and don't give me some lame argument about how producing the correct angles and so forth will produce dogs suitible for a given task. That may sound good in theory, but it has proven to be pure B.S. in practice.
