About how big does an foreign object or piece of food need to be in order to get lodged in the trachea in a serious manner for an adult?

Why is it that some food one can cough back out of the trachea?

How come adults are better suited to eating candy than very very young children?

I've received different reasons from Christians in three different phrasings of the question.

"You can't prove he didn't eliminate cancer".

Uh, yes I can, as people still get cancer in today's society.

"Eve's sin brought evil into the world and so we have cancer" (Pandora, anyone?)

Immediately: "Anyone who tells you Adam and Eve caused cancer doesn't know the Bible".


I realize there are a ton of denominations, but you should at least solidify how evil came to exist, that would be helpful in the brainwashing process.

Who do you feel would be a better candidate for President: Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. I used to be 100% for Hillary, but I have watched some footage of Obama's "Take Back America 2007" speech, and I admit that I was swayed somewhat. Both have stances that I agree with, and both have a few that I disagree with. Hillary has much more experience, but Barack seems much more personable, and he seems to have good ideas. I AM TORN!

Somebody asked a question about spirituality, but mentioned the idea wasn't in the Bible. I answered:

"Not everything in the Bible is true, not everything that is true is in the Bible. Take that as you will."

Which I find very religion-neutral, and kind of common sense. But I got three thumbs-down, no thumbs up.

So... who here thinks everything in the bible is true, and everything that's true is in the bible?

I have only had my phone number for 6 months. The previous owner of this number evidently did not pay her bills. Now her bill collector calls me thinking I am her. I have informed them that I am not who they are looking for. They have been calling me nonstop. Sometimes multiple times in one day. I have considered changing my number, but it angers me to think that it will come to that. I have even contacted the company explaining the situation. That has not worked. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hard circumstances, he had a fling when we weren't together, a pregnancy, and now a baby. No relationship with the other girl. How do I accept this child my fiance has, and how do I handle it with our 3 year old. This baby represents a lot of hurt and I don't know how to do it? ANy suggestions.
