i love green day. when people say they have sold out that is just a load of ****. green day are a really good band and still are. in the 90s people didn't really realise that , yes they might of known songs such as basket case and good riddance(time of your life) but that was really it. when they release warning in 2000 they weren't that popular but with american idiot in 2004, people started to notice the amount of talent they had. green day are a awesome band and they clearly prove it.

I used to LOVE Wake Me Up When September Ends, but I'm kind of over my whole Green Day phase!

They were good way, way back in the 90's.
Suddenly, ever since 2005 they're all about this political ********, trying to fit poetic lyrics into issues that need serious attention. And covering John Lennon? Not a way to get on my good side.

I love Green Day! My iPod is almost half full of their songs. And Billie Joe...oh my goodness, Billie Joe...

I'm not sure. I thought their early albums were junk, but they seem to have gotten a lot better over time. I am really on the fence about them.

I really like them. Although i think American Idiot isnt that good i like thier older stuff. Mike Dirnt is one of my favorite bass players ever.

They sold out with american idiot. And after that they made new fans but their old fans stopped liking them. you can tell when a rock bands sells out when black people listen to them. (in a non racist way)

I think pop punk is what is killing music, its awful, use the internet find real punk, there is good musics out there.
