I am getting a new lab – he’s 5 weeks now. I have trained a few of my dogs in the past with easy things like shake, play dead, heal, roll-over, etc. With the lab, I would like to train him to be a gun dog for hunting. What is a good way to train him for reacting to gun fire? Is there a test other than shooting around him to get him used to it? Is there a good book to recommend? Thanks!

I run a small web site and I want to be alerted if our server goes down. I have tool that detects the server and currently, I am able to send emails and SMS messages if this tool detects the server going down.

But I also want a tool that can call a landline phone. Easiest way for me is to send an email to a service that can then make the call.

Anyone?

Hi, I am the female left brained that doesn't know how to do decorating. But I found debbie mumm borders, for the walls and got all excited and decided to use fabrics and all but then as I searched it appears to me that she is "passe" and this is only a problem because I can't locate fabrics etc. to match the borders. Am I correct here ?

Hi, my fish are a black moore and a gold fantail, and the fantail was "dead" in the tank this morning. It is alive now, and recently had a very long fece that took a little while to remove, and kept growing for a little while. The black moore seems fine. The fece was long and thin I believe. ...Ban 1 Productions? This is a production company, which has put out some outstanding exploitation movie trailer compilations, both independently, and through Synapse Films. I have been trying to contact them, but their webpage directs me to a My Space page, as far as contact; I'd like to think that I don't have to sign up for My Space, just to get a message to them, as I never used, nor ever had any interest in using My space for anything.
