Yes, americans will tell you they want legal and not illegal, because the illegal ones are not human in their minds. But then again they do not know what it takes to immigrate here, and believe me it is very hard to do it legally.

sorry, but I failed see why we should reward them with the first ever "permanent" temporary visa? didn't they commit some crime???
I know that this z visa is designed to "create a path to legalization" but to me it seems more like creating a Super-freeway.
As for amnesty...what are the punishments that they will receive for breaking the law?
A waivable/deferable fine and a required few day vacation home?
weigh the punishment vs the reward...is it punishment or amnesty?
If a cop pulls me over and hands me a 100 dollar bill and then gives me a ticket for 10 dollars and says that i can pay it off over 5 years, I would consider that a free pass.
America was founded by immigrants that assimilated. And rebelled and fought their Native country. Where is the similarity. While it is a novel approach to rationalizing the immigrat bill it is not a valid approach.

I personally have no problem with legal immigrants who wait their turn in line. What I have a problem with is pregnant women jumping the border having their babies on American soil(which makes the kid a citizen), and then claiming that the U.S(by doing what it is legally allowed to do) is "separating families", or "depriving the child of a stable environment". Example? Woman in Illonois(?) hiding in a church to not get deported(her kid is a citizen for stated reason above).
I also hate people who jump the border and then decide that the American public should pay for their children's schooling, medical bills etc. And then flounder on welfare for the rest of their lives. Some other people would be the ones that claim Arizona, California, New Mexico etc. are "stolen property", and "should be given back to Mexico. They also believe that if they have enough people jump the border they can take these states back by force.
I have no problem with people who can come here legally, incorporate into American society(not set up their own), pay their own bills etc. The only people I have a problem with are the ones who come here illegaly, set up their own society, reside on welfare etc.

The senate bill is Amnesty, and it's supporters - like La Raza ("The Race") and MECHA (which wants to cede parts of the USA to Mexico) are the racists. As, BTW, are you.
You have just declared that the descendents of immigrants are, themelves immigrants. That is judging people by thier ancestry. That is racism.
Legal immigrants come to the US from all over the world, and are not turned away based on thier race. They are welcomed by Americans, like myself - I live in a cosmopolitican city and I work with people from all over the world - Mexico, Central America, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Vietnam, Laos, China, even exotic Scotland. I get along just fine with them. But, they're all people who came here legally - not invaders, not criminals, not colonists seeking to impose thier language and culture upon America.

I don't have animosity towards immigrants. Why do illegals hate me so much that they think they can steal my taxes, overcrowd my ER's, take up space in my kid's school, and undercut people who won't work for less than minimum wage? Illegals are the ones who are not only hateful, but disrespectful, too.

I don't think it's so much immigrants in general, but mainly the illegal immigrants. There is a big difference, yet people seem to ignore the fact that they are talking about illegals; they aren't necessarily racist due to the fact that they are only expressing their freedom of speech.

Sorry but can't you pro-amnesty people listen to facts? You seem to have forgotten one really important word in your question -- ILLEGAL!
FACT: America was founded by LEGAL immigrants.
FACT: We don't want to keep out LEGAL immigrants.
FACT: Just because we are against ILLEGAL immigrants doesn't mean we are racists and bigots.
FACT: We are not racist since ILLEGAL immigration has nothing to do with race!
FACT: ILLEGAL aliens are criminals since they are breaking our laws!
FACT: Mexican is not a race.
FACT: ILLEGAL aliens are killing our economy and our country!
So, put away the race card since it doesn't apply. WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE WORD ILLEGAL?!

Legal immigration helps and are welcome.Illegal aliens need to be deported humanely. That is all they deserve.
The race card is the only tool pro-illegals use. But they use racist remarks with apparent impunity.

I know very few liberals that are racists. It's big business that is racist, as they want to use illegals for slave labor. I believe your avatar shows the first President to declare amnesty, which started this whole mess.

Well, if the illegals stayed in a certain area of the country and at least payed some type of tax, I wouldn't hate them as much. But the Mexicans having their gangs and drug lords coming into America does not appease me.

You don't know nutten about nuttin. Our immigrant ancestry learned the freakin' ENGLISH LANGUAGE and didn't expect to live in a welfare state and think they were ENTITLED to have 10 children at taxpayer expense.
But what do I know? I'm just a Rabbit.
