I know this question has been thrown out there a bit. I'm a theist and I definitely believe there is absolute truth. If you answer no, that there is no absolute truth, then I must further ask if that is an absolutely true statement. I would love to hear opinions out there to this profound question.
I would conjure you to notice that absolute truth is not relative. Something that is relative is not absolute. You may say it's hot outside and I may say it's merely warm. This type of sensational relativity is not the same as absolute truth, so therefore not a good argument or resolution to the question.
If you say that absolute truth is relative to the individual then again, it's not an absolute truth. Absolute truth is either true or not. You see, 2+2=4, even if you want it to equal 5 to fit your lifestyle better.
