Commonly, medical doctors assign the word "fibromyalgia" to a combination of symptoms for which they do not know or understand a cause, and for which they do not have a cure, although some relief may be offered through medication.
Consult several doctors if you can and get yourself checked thoroughly. The more details you can give the doctor, the better the chance for an accurate assessment.
Write down ALL the concerns that you have over a period of a week or so, copy the list and take it with you when you visit the doctor. This ensures that the doctor knows as much as possible.
Keep the copy for a second or third doctor. Add to it as necessary.
Be prepared to look at alternative health practices, such as
herbs, energy healing, acupuncture. It is very possible that relief or a cure can be found there when conventional (western) medicine fails. You may have to consult practitioners in several of these areas. Be open about it.
I would suggest you try energy healing first because it has a very good possibility of reducing the headache pain you are experiencing, and that should happen immediately. A full body treatment may also affect other symptoms.
The positive part of this is that, while a full body treatment may take thirty minutes, you should experience some immediate relief from the pain...within ten minutes or less.
Complete elimination of the pain may not be readily available for you but reduction is probable.
For comparison, migraines can be reduced or halted with two treatments of one minute each, and given five minutes apart.
Common stress and sinus headaches occasionally require a second effort after a few minutes, but usually they stop completely in one minute.
If you do not realize some immediate relief, do not continue seeing that person.
We do not know what other symptoms you have, so energy healing alone may not provide everything that you need, and you should still be prepared to consult others.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last year, and have done a lot of research since then. There is definately no cure for Fibromyalgia, in fact it's very difficult to get any decent help from the medical profession with this condition, as they really are in the dark about how to treat this condition...
But your symptoms do not sound like Fibromyalgia?? Did you have the 'tender point' test? This is a test, usually carried out by a rheumatologist, where they put pressure on 18 tender points located around your body, and if you have suffered pain in at least 11 of these tender points for the last 3 months or more, then you probably have fibromyalgia. But you also need to have blood tests done to rule out other conditions...
An good website for fibromyalgia information is:

Hope this helps

Yes, there can be a cure - but it is a difficult one to sort out. There are many possible causes and things that can aggravate the condition.
However, your first priority is getting the diagnosis right. Floaters and raised veins are not the usual type of symptoms you have with fibromyalgia, although they can be a feature of it - other symptoms are usually more common.
Have you seen your doctor? Although they are not the best people to help with fibromyalgia necessarily, they can help by ensuring that you have the correct diagnosis.
If you do have fibromyalgia, then my advice is to seek help from an experience nutritionist or preferably a herbalist. There are many ways of helping, and on a personal note I have managed to help many sufferers over the years.
Hope you find the answers you need.

I have this, although mine consists of back pain and fatigue. I have physio and am about to start Tai Chi as I've heard it helps. I take paracetamol (full daily dose) and coedine phosphate (this is addictive) pain meds don't really help but they take the edge off. I've taken souble coedine aswell that helps but can cause headaches if you take too much too often.
There is no cure
I'm not sure what other pain meds there are, I'm not allowed any others due to dodgy kidneys and liver.
Physio dept. have help groups and the hydro pool is supposed to be good too, aslo tackaling your causes of stress can reduce it
Hope you feel better

Hia. I have experienced this condition for over 30 yrs and tried all offered medication and some painful treatments...none of which helped.
I too have the floaters and all over body pain and very painful skull.
My current approach that supports me is my own personal mind/body/spirit approach.
I have looked at my inner language and how I can dis-empower myself on a daily basis. Through this inner work I have realised how my body reacts to percieved outer experiences to stress and events that don't happen the way I want them to.
No there seems to be no medical miracle cure however I do Feel that my healing must come from within 'me'.
If you want to contact me...you are welcome
Best wishes

Fibromyalgia is a common nonarticular disorder of unknown cause characterized by achy pain, tenderness, and stiffness of muscles, areas of tendon insertions, and adjacent soft tissues. Diagnosis is clinical. Treatment includes exercise, local heat, and drugs for pain and sleep.(Merck)
As with many other disorders, there is no universal cure for fibromyalgia. (Wikipedia)
