Al Gore is fearmongering by telling Americans that global warming will kill us all, yet he:

-lives in a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville
-according to public records, there is no evidence that Gore has signed up to use green energy in either of his large residences
-Gore has controlled hundreds of thousands of dollars in Oxy stock.(Oxy has been mired in controversy over oil drilling in ecologically sensitive areas. )

I'm sure you have all heard John Edwards' speech about a rich and a poor America...

Kind of funny when you consider that he:

-pays $400 for a haircut. In fact, one of the places where had his hair done is described on its Web site as "a unique boutique for the mind, body and face" that caters mostly to women.

I just watched a video that talked about a school who made a rule stating that there was no touching allowed on campus. Several months ago, there was that whole ordeal where the Aliso Niguel principal, Dr. Charles Salter, banned the dances for inappropriate dancing. Are highschool principals getting too strict? Touching is a part of life...high fives, slaps on the back, fancy handshakes....it's all part of it! I don't understand, why you would completely ban something so harmless. Imagine all the strange conversations among the students AND teachers that followed. "Oh, sorry, man. I'd give you a high five but Mrs. What's-Her-Face is standing right there." And everyone knows that there WERE better solutions to solving the freak dancing problem at Aliso Niguel. That shouldn't have been a big deal from the start. People now a days are generally less reserved than they were several years ago.

My question is...
Do you think principals and teachers are too strict, nowadays?

Conserva...tion....conserva--tive.

Try to use a little common sense and logic.

Think of pollution like smoking cigarettes.

You can't prove smoking causes lung cancer (maybe it does) but it sure as hell doesn't do your lungs and body any good.

You can't prove pollution contributes to global warming (maybe it does) but it sure as hell doesn't do the Earth any good.

Only a stupid person would insist otherwise.

Apparently from my last question, I don't know atheists or what they are about. So you know what. WHat are you atheists all about? I need to ask you guys several questions. What created you? Your mom and dad did but who created them? and so on and so on. Who created the universe? Who created the Big Bang. Who created science? Who created everything and nothing? How far can atheists go into answering these questions? sure atheists will have answers to these questions like the universe was created by the big bang but then ask yourselves who created the big bang. It goes on forever but science can't explain everything. There must have been an ultimate creator who created all these things. if you disagree then explain everything.

I have cats and a dog. They all get fleas. They don't go very long without having them. They don't like baths. It's pretty well impossible to give them one. I've used flea combs. I've used the meds the vet gave me. They never go away. Is there something else I can do?
