I've been hearing and reading so much about global warming lately, specifically that carbon dioxide emissions are to blame, and since America puts out a good amount, they're to blame. Now, I've seen Al Gore's little slide show and I don't believe it--there are too many 'what-ifs' through it. And I've seen the pics of the polar bears, even though I saw them before with a different caption. Most of all, though, I've seen the explanation of global warming--Carbon dioxide levels through industry are rising, and the summers are getting hotter and hotter. Therefore, carbon dioxide emissions must be responsible for global warming. Being a man who understands scientific method, there's something missing--you have to prove the theory through experimentation, not consensus and conjecture. So here's your chance! Prove to me that global warming is caused by carbon dioxide and American industry...or call me an idiot when you can't come up with an answer that fits your beliefs.

I have an RV that I would allow a company to either paint or place magnetic placards on the front, back and sides. I plan on driving cross country to visit all the National Parks and my RV will be seen by millions all over the US .

I have seen many vehicles that are painted with the sponsors logo, marketing brand, colors, etc. (eg., tobacco brands, Kinkos, stores, etc. ). I would like to do the same with my vehicle.

Long story short, a friend owed me a little money, so he gave me a Honda CR250 that he got from someone that owed him money...

Anyway, 2 problems I see with it..

1. I can't kickstart it. The lever won't even budge.

2. If I put it in gear & then pull in the clutch, it is VERY hard to push. It should be easy to push if the clutch is releasing, right?


For the amount he owes me, I could part it out on eBay, but I'm curious about what's wrong with it & how much it would cost to get it to run again.

My husband left me and the three kids six months after he started having an affair with another woman ( I discovered this after he left.)
I asked him to leave me the car. He wouldn't. He then bought himself a luxery car. So then he had two cars and I had none.

I eventually bought a car for me and the kids.

Anyway, he has given the car to the girlfriend's mother ( who I also understand is a home wrecker)! He couldn't leave it for us ( the kids are little and need to be driven to school, doctor's appointment, etc.)

I still have a key to the car and as I live in a community property state, I can legally just go and get it. Part of me wants to do that. The other part says that this is God's way of showing me that I am better off without this azzhole.

What would you do?

Can a bank "attach" or "garnish" my company's checking account without a court order if the company owes the bank money? It seems to me that if a court ordered garnishment is required for anyone else to get money out of my bank account without my consent, the bank would be subject to the same laws.

This is a CORPORATE bank account, not a personal one. And, if it matters by state, this occurred in Missouri.

My soon to be ex wife cheated on me back in October. She got drunk crashed my car and she called home to tell what she had done. during the conversation we started yelling cause she was drunk and then she says thats ok cause i'm *****&% mike and he fuc*% better then you. so I said ya but hows the car? well I stayed with her for a few days but I noticed this guy Mike kept calling her cell phone. I made a purchase on 6-7-07 and paid for it the same day thru Paypal. I have emailed the seller twice about when I should expect to receive them and have heard nothing back from them. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I made the purchase. Shouldn't I have had it buy now?

P.S. It's not like it is something that has to be engraved or made or anything...it is a bulk order of punch cups I was wanting to use for my wedding.
