I look at Michael Bloomberg and ask myself if I would buy a used car from this man. The answer I get is hell no. I don't trust him.

He was a democrat for years . I guess for a time he got swept up in all the talk that he had earned billions so why should he be taxed more then anyone else .
I never met the man that could earn billions on his own . Seems he needs the help of millions of people to maintain the roads purchase his products and work to make them .
Billionaires are profiteers who make nothing and simply lead the orchestra .
Without good musicians it sounds like crap no matter who leads it . Funny that the conductor could disappear and the band would play on .

It's more like a life long meat eater saying he won't eat hot dogs because the contents are disgusting. I doubt he has much of a chance of being president because he is basically unknown outside of New York, and I don't think he would be very likable to people in the South, Midwest and most of the Southwest based on his political ideas.

Bloomberg is smart. He realizes that if you look at recent polling as a whole . . . people are dissatisfied with government as a whole - not just a particular person or party. By registering as an independent now he has placed himself before the curve for perhaps not this presidential election but others to come.

Why? Bloomberg was a lifelong Democrat. He simply switched parties to get elected. Becoming Independent was also a strategic political move. He's been my mayor for a while, trust me, he's always been closer to a Democrat than a Republican.
You might want to do some research before you post next time.
Edit: You're right, I read that wrong--that's what happens before coffee. Although name calling is silly and immature.

None. He won't get any of the Republican base. However, he does have money.
Are their any Conservative politicians in New York? It seems as if the Republicans have to move left of center to get elected.

Bloomberg has changed parties as much as Zell Miller.
Which is OK with me.
It's better than staying the course with an unconscionable war monger.

I agree. He wasn't announcing anything that surprised anyone.
I don't think he would do too well if he ran. The guy looks too depressed and dejected. He makes me sad just looking at him.
