Are we to infer that the outrage about Clinton and the blue dress was mere partisan politics, and that our entire political system was derailed for years so Republicans could score points? Are any of the Republicans out there just a little ashamed of their leaders?

It's driving my poor boyfriend crazy! He is on the verge of leaving me.
We had a big blow-up yesterday and he told me that I'm not the same person I was when we met- that I've become a control freak. I argued with him because, well, I'm always right! Haha just kidding. He made me realize that I AM a control freak in every aspect of my life and I want to change.
My question is, how? Where do I start? I pay so much attention to what he does with his free time, and need to know everything. I get really jealous when he hangs out with his friends. I don't let him clean, do laundry, cook, anything. I thought I did it out of love, but now that I think about it, I do it because I want it to be done right! It's actually caused him to be more lazy and just sit around all the time because he knows I'll get everything done!
I don't know, if anyone has been through this before and has figured it out, I'd really appreciate some help. Help me save my relationship. I know he is THE ONE. Thank you

So I recently broke my timing belt, and it's currently sitting at the mechanic's shop being worked on. He called me about 15 minutes ago and he told me that he got everything put back on, but the engine will not turn over. Does anyone know if perhaps there is some time of sensor that could have disabled the engine from firing after breaking a timing belt? Could my after-market alarm have something to do with this? Best answer gets 10 big ones!

i dont understand this. people tell me [on here and in real life] that i'm a hypocrite i cant be both. but here's the twist, when you say that then you are judging me arent you??? the Bible says not to judge, i try mybest to not judge anyone that goes for people who abort, so who are you to judge me for supporting someone's rights??? i want to hear your opinion but to be honest you can judge me all you want cause what matters to me is God's opinion. i know some of you will say well if that's true why are you pro-choice than..lol.

Who would I file a complaint w/ if an employeer is not supplying a pay stub? We have no idea if taxes are being deducted from a paycheck (Weekly base pay is $X amount before commissions - sometimes net pay (minus approx 24%)is deposited directly into a bank account, sometimes a check - but there is NEVER a paystub mailed (in case of direct deposit) or attached to a physical check. Here goes..Me n my LDR (long distance relationship) B/F hav known each other about a 1yr N hav been dating about 6months of it.He's an X-Marine of 8years N just now has started skool agin(which i think is great).Even tho he had told me tat he wasnt lookin 4a relationship at the time, 4months later we start'd datin.Everything has been goin great,but recently the LD has been wearin on me.I miss him horribly,we've seen each other 4x's in 11months N he's been goin to skool the whole time.Once he starts a semester he doesnt have very much time 2talk 2me(which is all we hav,tat N the internet).Im not blamin him or sayin tat its his fault, but we'd hav 2wait at least 4yrs b4 we could B 2gether.N i just met this guy this past weekend tat seems really sweet N Im slightly intrigued by him.So i told my B/F we need'd a break 2figure out wat we're goin 2do about our relationship.I think i did the rite thing,(But did i?)i dont want 2endup cheatin on him.How long should i take this break?What now?

I hope I don't offend anyone for being an Aussie commenting on American religious politics, but isn't it contradictory that it is a cornerstone of American policy overseas to promote secular government(Particularly in the middle east) while fashioning domestic policy in line with a purely religious perspective? There are many examples I could choose from, but I will cite only one: Gay marriage.

The opposition to gay marriage is one-hundred percent religion-based. There is no legal justification for opposing it, yet the government opposes it on this very basis.

Christians, how do you justify this contradiction? Before you answer, imagine for a second if you happened to live in a state where religious beliefs you didn't agree with national policy. It appears that America can decry the Taliban, yet see no hypocrisy in "faith-based initiatives", keeping God in the Pledge of Allegiance, refusing HIV assistance to those countries who do not accept the abstinence agenda, etc.
