So that people with disabilities and disadvanatages can still get the same quality instruction as other people. They may miss the other activities and the fun of a bricks-and-mortar school (physical) but will not be at a disadvantage as far as instruction is concerned.

For people who have a busy schedule and can't go to a campus to take their classes. My mom dropped out of high school, had me(14) my sister(9) and started to go to school again, but she could not go back and forth to campus. this was 3 or 4 years ago. she then had my brother(15 months). It is just impossible to go to a campus every day for her.

I also have to take classes online. I passes my algebra 1 class by 2 pts this year, so i am re-taking the class online for grade forgivness. I cant do night school because i play baseball for a county leauge, i babysit my brother sometimes, i have a branch of an organization at my school that my friends started and to top it all off, my dad works from 5a to 9p. so... yeah
