Can you really bat both ways on this? Slavery was once the law of the land, state-sanctioned racisim was once the law of the land, and now wholesale genocide is the law of the land.

Do you really believe that because the "law" make something legal/illegal, this is the moral compass in which to make a logical decision? Or is mob-mentality the only solution?

Your thoughts, please.

And please don't go there with the coat-hangers, etc. Roughly 50 million American(s), or 1 in six people in society simply do not exist since 1973, and the number of deaths in the previous 100 years due to botched abortions(another "choice") don't even come close to those numbers.

While i was a sleep i was waken by the smell of something burning it was very strong,so i went to the kitchen to see was it coming from there,and it was not.So i went back to sleep I was then awoken bye the smell of onions very stong loud smell onions,but i felt the presents of evil.This has happen to me before.What is it?

I want to make one, but I don't make the time to make one every morning. Would it be possible to make a really big one and store it in the refrigerator for later and heat it up? Or will it not reheat right or go bad or something?

Ok the one thing i dont get is why do the religious think they are better than the other? i mean wars have started because they think they are better than others. people die over these issues! why is it that there way to the answer is right and everyone else's is wrong? Why cant here be more than one answer? why cant there be more than one god? why cant there be no god? why cant the bible be wrong? why is it that we have closed our doors to all outside advice and pulled the sheep's woll over our own eyes? i know its comforting but if god gave us a brain to think with then why dont we think for ourselves?

But that the choice was about being homosexual and choosing to have sex. (This kinda of reiterates the 'love the sinner not the sin' theory.) But do you think that having sex is that much of a choice? To me it is a natual occurrence.
I no more think that sex is about choice than eating, drinking,sleeping or urinating...They are all simple biological functions and drives. To me telling me not to have sex is telling me to think about anything except an elephant.(of course everyone imagines an elephant at this point).
And BTW how many straight people ever give up sex because 'it is wrong'--that they are unmarried and the bible says that it is wrong? I concede maybe a few nuns and,( well, priests have certainly shown what an artificial environment can do to people) might have--but they hardly lead normal lives.
... Anyone agree? or disagree?

Is there any other race or heritage that is coming in just as fast as the spanish speaking folks. I use this term becuase although a lot of the immigrants speak spanish, a lot of them are from different hispanic countries and I guess not just Mexico.

Me and this guy were completely in love for about a year, we had known eachother for 4 years before that and liked eachother the whole time but we never dated.. everything started gettin complicated, and we started having a lot of minor arguments... then he had an accident with his head, and started getting more and more stressed out about things. He finally told me he couldnt handle the stress anymore, so we ended us. He was somewhat friends with his bestfriends cousin, but they just talked on the computer, I had talked to her a few times too along with him. I don't know anything about stellar physics, but let's just say (for the sake of this question) that *something* happened to cause the Earth to be in constant darkness. How much time (days, weeks, months, years?) would the Earth have left if the Sun ceased to shine? And what would we go through before the death of everything? Would it be quick? Or slow and painful?

This actually came up while I was at work today. Thanks.

my school counselor often refers to it as the jekyll and hyde because ive displayed symptons of one being calm natured and one displaying violence not serious violence but enough for her liking. Ive decided to come on here to see if anyone has any advice as to what is causing it most worroying though is that i am only 17 and its really affecting my school work. i live in the uk not that this helps. this is serious and would appreciate serious answers many thanks yahoo members
