Does'nt sound like it. The common symptoms of strep throat include: 1. Severe and sudden sore throat without coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms. 2. Pain or difficulty with swallowing. 3. Fever over 101 F; (lower fevers may indicate a viral infection and not strep.) 4. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck. 5. White or yellow spots or coating on the throat and tonsils. 6. Bright red throat or dark red spots on the roof of the mouth at the back near the throat. 7. Swollen tonsils, although this symptom may also be caused by a viral infection. (In teenagers, mononucleosis can cause a severe sore throat that looks like and has symptoms similar to those of strep throat.) 8. It is easy to tell when you have a sore throat or a cold. It is harder to know when you have strep throat. Generally, sore throats are caused by a viral infection and not strep bacteria. Strep throat usually does not occur with cold symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, or a runny or stuffy nose. The more cold symptoms you have, the less likely it is that your sore throat is a strep infection. 9. In some cases of strep infection, a skin rash develops and spreads over the neck and chest and eventually over the whole body. The rash feels rough like sandpaper. This condition is called scarlet fever. Scarlet fever is treated with antibiotics, which usually lead to a quick recovery. Scarlet fever is not dangerous if treated.

If you have strep throat, you should definately be getting some anti-biotics to kill the infection. You need to go to the docs.
Strep won't go away on it's own....if not treated it could lead to other health complications. It can become quite serious.
Gargle with a bit of salt in a cup with some warm water (1/2cup of warm water) stir, and Gargle(do not swallow) then spit out..it will help the inflamation at the back of your throat., then take a tsp of honey to soothe your throat, drink lots of fluids, have soups, jello....soft foods , easier to swallow. This will only temporarilly give you relief , you definately will need anti-biotics tho to kill the infection/virus. Also take an advil or tylonol for your fever/pain in your throat.
But...Most Definately...Get to the docs for anti-biotics, in 2 days you'll be feeling better.
