The character of Colleen was going nowhere,so it comes as no surprise that she was written out of the show.I also think the character of Colleen was let go because of her sudden weight gain.
I think the Y&R will bring back Colleen in the future,but it will be a different actress.
As for Adrien,he has no real storyline without Colleen.

The Young and the Restless actress Adrianne Leon (Colleen) has posted on her MySpace that she's been informed her last day with the show was last week!
Fans were in an uproar when Adrianne didn't appear at this year's Emmy Awards and even more confused to read her June 14, 2007 post apologizing for her absence, saying that it was related to security issues. Now, merely four days later, this fan favorite has been let go… Although Adrianne rightfully sounded hurt and stunned by the news from CBS/Y&R, she expressed thankfulness to her Y&R family but promised fans that she has other music and acting projects in the works and that she'll be back, although not on the show, after taking some much needed time off.

No, I just heard about it. I wondered where she was, especially since on Soapnet the picture that accompanies Young and the Restless is of Adrianne Leon. I think she is a talented girl and really enjoyed watching her and Korbel. I like her much more than Victoria, but if they were thinking of letting her go before they should have let her and Korbel go to Paris. Otherwise, her leaving is not going to make sense. The only thing I can think of is maybe Jana does something to her, as she has continued to text Kevin in an attempt to explain her actions. I am just sad that the issue of her weight has been raised. Adrianne is a very beautiful girl and is nowhere near being fat. She just doesn't look like she is about to pass out like Victoria, who we are supposed to believe is pregnant (yeah right). I do want to take this opportunity to wish Adrianne the best of luck and hope to see her in future projects that also include her singing as she is an awesome singer.
I wonder if we will ever find out what the security issue was which prevented her from attending the Daytime Emmy's. I don't know about anyone else, but I wondered if she had a stalker or something: very scary.

* Adrianne Leon (Colleen) has announced on her official MySpace that she's been let go of the show. Her last air date was taped a few weeks ago.
They don't show any new contract for Korbel so maybe he is going to get off the show too.

Well her story line hasn't been impressive recently and since her and the professor have been through so much as it is they really can't do anything to her storyline but make her pregnant and even then what will they do then. I'm kind of disappointed though that she is leaving. I never really liked Colleen's character until recently and I actually liked that she had gained weight I thought she looked very attractive like that and me being overweight as well I thought that it was about time that we didn't have tiny little girls (such as amber) all the time getting all the love scenes. But oh well I guess

Strange! I liked this Colleen recast. Who knows? Maybe the old Colleen wanted to come back. We know from what happened to the recast Lily that actresses on daytime tv are expendable. It's sad that her weight is even mentioned since she looks normal/average to me. She's gorgeous.

Wow That seems so sudden. I didn't hear about her leaving the show. I thought they would eventually do something more with her storyline. Maybe hook her up with Kevin or something. They should keep her around. If they are going to recast her they are recasting the wrong one. They should recast the original Lilly with her original replacement.

I dont believe Colleen will be recast . I doubt that weight had anything to do with it . She is a very pretty girl . I dont hink Victoria is as pretty as the one before .
Cordell has awhile yet before he can leave .

I do not believe she was let go because of her weight. CBS would be facing a major lawsuit if they did. Tracy Carlton was heavy when she was on the show, so I don't see why people would assume it's because of her weight. She actually looks more like an average woman than the real skinny girls on the show. I'm sure there's more to the story and maybe one day we'll know, but all I know is that if I were dropped from a show, I really wouldn't want the reason be known. She deserves her privacy at this time.

I am glad she's gone. Like the actress hate the charachter. I didn't notice a weight gain. I thought she was very beautiful the writers just didn't do anything with her and I to was hoping her and Kevin would hook up.
