I have noticed that some roads have 'unadopted' written underneath their signs and some have 'adopted'. What does this mean?

i am worried about passing on Group B Strep to my baby. My midwife thinks they can't get the antibiotics to me in time because my first labor was so fast and I live 30 minutes from hospital...anyone know if inducing me early might help control or slow down contractions so they have time to get antibiotics in me? I'm really worried :(

My payment is past due 2 wks today and I wanted to get an extenstion on payment for 1 day because I get paid on Fridays (today's Thurs). The customer service rep told me she needed a payment today before 7pm in order to not disconnect. I mean, it's not like it's even a month overdue. My boyfriend swears up and down that it's illegal for the electric complany (SRP) to disconnect the electricity in the summertime here because the temperatures are so hot you could die without air. I want to know if that's true. Not that I would ever try and push my luck, I just want to know from someone who knows for sure or if it's just a rumor. Thanks.

I bought perfect pair favors and was looking for ideas for the invite to tie that idea into it but all the ones I have seen are cheesy. Not in our lifetime, but perhaps say 100 years into the future. What would happen if all of the manual labour jobs were taken by machines? Would there be no work avaliable for humans? And would the government be willing to pay out benifits to people if there was no work for them?

I have a Kodak Z7590 digital camera, and a ativa SD 1MB memory card. There is a picture on the SD card that I can see in the view finder, but can't share,copy, transfer to camera's internal drive or print it. When I try to transfer or print, the camera tells me it can't find the memory card, yet the picture can be viewed on the camera. I even tried to access the SD card from my computer and it won't open the files. I figure it's gotta be the memory card. I've tried PC Inspector and RescuePro with no luck.

Any suggestions?

I have a Minolta 404i 35mm film SLR Camera. Is there any way I can turn this camera into a digital Camera ? by Changing the Back Cover with a CCD image sensor and its circuitry, I was thinking that it is not impossible.... if some one have any idea about it, Please share...
