I guess it depends on what I am doing
during tae bo I think "dont pass out"
during bike riding I think "geez my legs hurt"
during walking I think "I hope I dont swallow any bugs"
during weight training I think "am I doing this in proper form" or "only 3 more, only 2 more, etc"

I think having motivation is essential. I think of heroes in action movies and the physical torment they are put through. Then I want to make sure if I'm in their place I'd be fitter/stronger!

I don't really think.
I'm usually watching a tv show on my video ipod when I'm on the eliptical. Everything else, I'm listening to music.

wow..... i never thought of that but i usually watch tv or read a bood when i'm doing excercise!! i just think about how i want to be healthy and fit and be the ideal weight i want to be.

focus on exactly what you're doing..
how your body is moving, how your muscles feel, how your skeleton is working,
whether you sense changes from yesterday.
it will work better if you focus on what you're doing instead of distractions.
