Everyone asks what the meaning of life is...I want to know what the meaning of YOUR life is? What is your destiny?? Why are you here?? Life means different things to different people so I don't think it is ever possible to have one answer for the entire world.

Meaning and purpose are not the same thing.

Meaning is intrinsic to life. Can you describe a rainbow without colors? So you cannot describe life without meaning either. Life is replete with meaning. Everything you do counts. Every word you speak has is effect. Every thought that enters your mind lives eternally. Your soul is the sum product of everything you do, every word you speak, and every thought that enters your mind. There is no such thing as a wasted prayer, or a fruitless love. Therefore take heed about how you nurture your soul. Seek truth, practice love and relish everything in this world that is beautiful.

Purpose in life is found within your passion. For the young their passion is found with discovery. The discovery of things new, different and the discovery of themselves. For the adult their passion is found in how they provide for their family. Seek the place where your heart lies and there you will find your treasure.

That is an excellent question. I think everyone would do well to ask themselves that every now and again.
I define my life by the quality of my experiences, the amount of knowledge I've amassed, and how well I've been able to turn those elements into wisdom. And I think the real value of my time on earth will be measured in the degree to which I'm able to pass that wisdom on to my child.

I have lots of meanings to my life. My kids, my husband, my sister, my family, my pursuit of my degrees, growing personally and growing up...I don't have to have a destiny. I don't believe in destiny per say. We make our lives what they are. I personally think the Gods have better things to do.

I have always wondered what the meaning of my life was, too.
I guess it is to take care of others since that is what I do best.
I still don't know what my destiny is, I hope I figure it out someday. Maybe it is to die and go to heaven.

The meaning of my life is to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord and God. He is both friend and father.

Or as Christ would say in John 17:3 (NIV), "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."
