I had a friend, for example, who had a breakdown, when his wife literally "ran away with his best friend." Neither would ever say how it happened or why they did this to him.
Should a friend be ethically bound to explain his or her reason to another friend, if the first decides to end a relationship? What IS ethical in these situations? What is fair, decent, just?

You knew this question was coming, especially since Harrison has a ring now. Before you jump the gun and say Rice, take a look at Harrison's career stats (not that I'm a Harrison fan). If I'm not mistaken, he may be on a pace to break Rice's records if he plays long enough (and he isn't showing any signs of slowing down or getting injured). I am so embarrassed. I interviewed 3 days ago for a job. The employer said he'd get back to me the next day and DID NOT phone me, so I thought I didn't get it. My dad ended up calling both the managers to see what happened (yes, my dad). Then today I get an EMAIL saying I got the job, and I have to send my schedule of availability.

Should I just forget my dad called them? What do I do now? He left messages on both their answering machines...
